Ok, I'm new here, this is my first post and I'd just like to say I'm really looking forward to the WitchHunter class.

I was thinking I'd just end up playing a chaos class months and months ago, but that was back when I thought we'd get to play under Grandfather Nurgle :)

I guess not, but everything about the Witch hunters makes me want to play them.

A pistol and a sword are all I will need to live by.
I've heard they might get pets... ok? I'll take'em, the more the merrier :)

so, other than the little I know about Witch Hunters... Please inform me as to what you think they will be.

Hello!

There's nothing mentioned about pets. It's just people complaining over Destruction having a pet class, so they want one as well.

As for the Witch Hunter I have to admit that I like how it sounds as well .. but on the other hand, I like how pretty much all of the classes sound so far.
As to what the Witch Hunter will be, I'd wager it'll be a close quarters fighter that will mix between using the pistols and the sword. Like blast the enemy with some special attack from the pistol, and then start fighting with the sword until pistols have recharged (reloaded).

Welcome! As Lord of the Inquisition, it's always a pleasure to see another Witch Hunter fan.

Some excellent fluff threads here, most of it taken from various sources, but still good.

There hasn't been any official rumour whatsoever about them being a pet class, nor do I hope they will be. But some people would love to see them with warhounds, which I - to an extent - can understand.

And just so you all know, I have been playing WoW since as long as I can remember. I'm sincerely hoping WAR can end this rabid addiction :)



So, while most of my MMO exp comes from this simple game, WoW, I do have some prior exp from Asheron's Call and Asheron's Call 2.

I also played City of Heroes/Villains for a little while.


So far I haven't liked pet classes at all (expect in AC2, where that was my main, and I did the bulk of the dmg, the pet was merely a tank and healer)


So yes, thank you for the welcomes, and I hope to get to know the regulars here well and witness the coming of the next big MMO with you all.

At least, that is all I hope for right now.

Welcome to the forum. :cool: Yes,WH are cool,awesome,medieval type,etc etc.The fact is that it will turn up a class that most of the players will pick,just like what happened in WoW were many picked the Rogue class for being cool,stealthy and all that girly stuff.I was thinking,when the WH class was announced to choose as main char,but if u just check the poll results,there is a tremendous percentage of peeps gonna pick the class. Funny will be,when in-game everyone will be LF tanks and healers and there will be none as most of the gamers will be engineers,WH,Chaos marauders and black choppas! :(

Moreover, when the game will be released,we dont want it to end up like WoW and its childish population with leet/nerd talk(pewpew,omgwtfbbq) or names for WH's like Legolass,Legolasxxx,Legofglass,Vanhelsing,Vanhelsi ngz,Vanpwn,Vanhelzing etc etc.

haha, I can see that, but I have a feeling that while there will be a zerg of the classes everybody finds to be awesome right now, it will even out quickly enough because they are really giving all the classes nice unique playstyles. WH just won't be the way some people will want to play. As far as I can tell so far, it looks pretty good for me, though.
