okay i love orcs and goblins. I love how they look how they act and how they speak. However its the speaking part that i am bringing up right now. I love RP, LOVE IT! But, if you ask me some of the orc cockney accent does get a tad hard to read at some points. So when the game starts and we are all in an RP server I vote to have a signal to put in front of a sentence if it is not RP. This signal in my opinion should be an *. For example, instead of saying:
Oi you li'l pointy eared gitz, get over 'ere an scratch my back
you could say:
*Yo gobbos, get over here and scratch my back*
just for me, and others im sure, the orc dialect gets a tad, how do i put this, befuddled?
also please for my language part of my brain. Speaking with the orc mannerisms is fine.
But dont put to much orc accent into it to make it hard to read. It should always be legible first.
Again refer to my orc sentence above. It has just enough flavor to show that it is an orc talking and yet, it doesnt have to be analyzed to see what it says. You can tell while reading it what it means. dont make it illegible.
ex.) I'z da biggerest an da bestest orcses owt therez. youz canot stop da mitey KLAW GORGOD
to me thats a little hard to read so keep it simple. Even the littlest tweak can make it orcy. Because we are playing characters with a diffrend dialect we have to be careful that we can still in a split second can understand each other.
