Talisman making leveling stuck

I can't seem to get my talisman making above level 36. I've made lots of talismans but I'm just no longer gaining skill. I've tried using green fragments and other blue ingrediants (all over 25 skill) but I'm getting nothing. What do I have to do to level this skill?

I'm having the same problem, stuck at the exact same skill level of 36. I haven't been using apothecary made gold essences though, just the regular white skill level 1 ones. I've also only found skill level 1 relic boxes from vendors. Have you used green+ gold essences?

Since I am fast approaching that number (31 tm atm) do you guys know where to get better containers? I seem to remember either reknown or some other vendors having them (could see them when unchecking filter) but I went to t2 and checked reknown and siege merchants, and didn't see them. Haven't checked regulr merchants in t2 yet though.

Also, I am afraid getting high lvl gold essence will be a pain, while scavenging gives ok amount of gold dust (or w/e it is) I am not sure how many people do cultivation and given the description mtyhic gave to goldwe.. w/e that you need to make gold essence, makes me think one would need a cultivation alt (or friend/guildie) to get them :( Unless economy picks up after release, which would still take a while (seriously, people on my server have a 1tm purple curio for 1g =p not that anyone buys them but lol)

what about guild merchants? on the guild unlock page it shows guild merchant upgrades at various levels and says "pve crafting materials" or something to that effect so i assume materials will be easier to come by eventually

I'm guessing that we will need to find higher level fragments, etc.. /shrug

You would think they would just tie the skill gain check to the main ingredient and not secondary ingredients. One can hope.

Another one stuck, but at 37. Crafting 25 skill talismans doesn't give a skillup, so I'm at a complete loss here. This tradeskill is a complete pita to level up imo.

some advance, i'm at 39, i got my last points i think from vendor box/curio/gold, green level 25 frag and the lvl 25 essence. No skill gain on last 3 tries tho =/

and i can't find anyone who's interested in trading for the other class stuff yet.

Looks like the best bet right now is to just shelf it for a while until they update it. It's way too much of a gold sink right now and way too tedious.. it's more a matter of when they'll give it an overhaul moreso than if they do.

The combined level of all the components increases your skill up chance. You will have to get at least 3/5 of the components required being lvl 25 items to get a skill up.

Do you happen to know where/how to get lvl 25+ containers?

I don't think anyone has worked that out yet, if they'r even in game, we're all using vendor lvl 1's
