Where do I get Green+ Gold Essence?

As title. So far, I am also a Magical Salvager so I get plenty of Blue Essence to go with my crafting. My scavenging friends provide the Green/Blue/Purple Curios.

How do I get Gold Essences that aren't just the ones off the Vendor? Are they Butchering or what?

Crafted via gold dusts with the Apothecary skill.

Here's what you need for it:
-Goldweed (drops as seeds, so give them to a cultivator)
-Gold Dust (from scavenging)

Give these two items to an Apothecary (plus some vendor items), and he can make the gold essences.
