Hi all
I've met a lot of people who complained about bugs but didn't reported them because:
They didn't give a damn (wierd I know)
They didn't knew how to do it.
So I decided to address this two issues here.
Why should I report a bug? does anyone listen? thats retail not beta FFS!!!!!!!!:mad:
Well young grasshopper, any time that you encounter a bug you should try to report it, i'm not saying do it in the middle of battle or anything but when you can, report it. Mythic takes great care to check all the tickets that are sent to them.
The way the system works is that your ticket first come to a GM who review it, don't be suprised if you report a bug and some time later a GM talk to you about it in game, happened to me twice allready, the GM then pass your ticket to QA.
So basically yes, someone really does listen.
A second point for bug submitting is your game experiance, even though (in my experiance) WAR is having a really smooth launch (finger crossed) it's still buggy, which is only expected from an MMO. When you report a bug you help make the game more fun to you and to the rest of the WAR community, so in the end the gains are all yours. :mrgreen:
Ok now, so how do I report a bug?

The act itself of reporting a bug is really quite simple, simply click on the help symbol near the WAR menu --> Report a bug.
But here is the real catch, how do you actally write it?
Well it goes without saying that you should be respectful and to the point, things like: "this game is soooooooooo buggy the animation looks like crap you should find another job!!!!1" isn't helping anyone and anyone who do that should be ashamed of himself.
You should try to report the bug itself, whether it's animation, UI, game preformance etc etc etc.
Than you should describe what you were doing when you encountered the bug and, if you can, what computer rig, operation system and game settings you had.
Thats all.
Unlike many other games that I had the pleasure to playe, MMO, TBS and RTS alike, Mythic seems to take it's player feedback extremely seriously so you should give it to them.
Last note, feedbacks.
Just remebered this, submit feedbacks. Mythic gave us a tool to send feedback directly to them, use it, it's a great tool to have in an MMO.
Just remember, be rspectful and to the point but you don't have to be nice and all gooey, sending positive feedbacks is desired and is a great way to let the working bees in Mythic and GOA know that we appreciate their hard work for us but if you have criticism feel free to say so allso, but always remember, don't be disrespectful and don't write insults and what not, it's just a wast of your and the guys and gals in Mythic GOA time.
Anyway, I hope that I have managed to bring some small change to your bug reporting and feedback sending habbits.
