Dye previews?

Hey, I was wondering if there is a way to preview what your dye will look like before you get it.

I know this doesn't exactly fit into the apothecary forum, but it sorta does because apothecary can makes dyes.

Like, well I know that if you apply the dye it will show it to you before you finalize it, but what about dyes you receive from NPCs?

Like the Chaos get a choice of 2 different dyes, and I was looking all over to see what they looked like, and I thought "hell, i'll take the grey one, grey looks cool on chaos" and it turned out to be a bluish color.

wtf!?

So if anyone can tell me how to preview not just dyes but ANY item, that'd be great.

If you go to a merchant and choose to dye your gear, you can mouse over the different colors and see what their names are. That's how I found out shadow grey was that bluish color.

also, if you are using a vial of dye made with apothecary, you will choose the section to put it on, hit ok, and it will show your armor with the dye and give you a message: "are you sure you wish to use the dye?" so you can preview vials as well without worrying about using up your dye vials
