I am curious about the building of confession. Do you think it will be a damage based counter (i.e. you damage them a certain amount until you can force the confession out) or do you think it will be a debuff type dealy (starts out small, like branding, etc and as confession builds you unlock more powerful debuffs until they confess, than whamo, pistol to the mouth and burny torchness)
what do you think?

I think it'll be like Momentum for Hammerers. Like you gain it while fighting, and then the more powerfull attacks has a certain cost to use.

I'm hoping in building a confession we can have a mix of odd damage and debuffing (not that it infringes on the KotBS debuffs that they will have as Tanks). I think the mix would be good for variety and a way to show how the Witch Hunter works his opponent into a gibbering mess before granting him/her "salvation". I'm thinking something similar to the rogue abilities in WoW (ugh I hate making a comparision to WoW), but that it is also dependant on morale, that by using certain attacks you increase your "confession meter" which then allows you to acess certain finishing moves depending on how high you are on you meter and which abilities you use to finish off your opponent which then reset the meter.

I have no flipping idea. At this point, all I think we can be sure of is that Confession exists, it is buildable, and it is something specific to the target. My personal guess is that it will work more like Combo Points for Rogues in WoW (I know, I know, but still the analogy is the simplest one).
