Although I don't trust games mags or websites anymore the reviewer sounds like he's just a normal bloke and not a blind fanboy. He acknowledges and hopes it might change. He seems to have been playing a dark elf - and you have to admit that the beginning does not sound impressive - what idiot army would throw raw recruits in as their advance invasion force?
I'm willing to work through a slow beginning but a great introduction would be better - most films have them to try and grab your attention why not MMOs? I don't expect everyone to be a WH nut.
