We are listening...
Hi all,
I've seen a lot of posts recently questioning our presence out here on the boards and what we're doing to respond to the problems some are having. The fact is that I read this forum and others across fansites and look at what issues our players are facing. I can't always respond, but I do when I can. Fixes to some of these issues won't come overnight, but they will come as soon as we can find a solution. To reach a solution more quickly we encourage you to post with as much detail as possible, this allows us to read and begin assessing a starting point. There's any number of reasons for a crash be it old computer, outdated drivers, or an actual client bug. We can't discern what might be causing these problems you're experiencing while trying to play the game without your provided insight. Please realize that not everyones problem is the same, and many of these threads contain contradicting information and there are solutions for some that aren't one for others. It takes time for us to discern the facts and what problems are actually a result of the game and not something players need to do in order to enable their computer to run it. We've said it before and I'll say it again, your ability to play and enjoy the game is paramount, be it performance related or crash to desktops we will continue to strive to make your experience with WAR a better one. We appreciate the patience and cooperation you have displayed as we work through the inevitable problems that launch brings. While things have been overall excellent and a majority of our players are problem free we don't want you to feel forgotten or left behind because you're not. Myself and the community team, and even Mark himself are here each and every day at all hours listening to your needs and working with the development team to make things happen. Truly appreciated James. Despite all the issues I know I can't expect a miracle fix, but these kind of statements do certainly help get rid of some frustration.
I hope they get fixed soon, I really want to play this game |

One should always be aware of the fact that Warhammer Online hasn't been tested on a full-scale basis until now so; be forgiving.

A large portion of the WAR playerbase will be new to Mythic. We never played DAOC, and as such have yet to gain a comfortable level of confidence in Mythic's way of doing business.. Instilling that confidence is critical. My comfort level isn't very high at the moment. |

Actions speak louder then words mate.
Can you give us a list of whats being done? Or at the very least have a list of things you are fixing in the OP. Its been a week ( today) and i haven't entered the game since. Ive been getting an error after hitting play on the patcher.

Minimum spec issues.
Thanks James for the reply, I'm sure a lot of us will appreciate your response.
Can you tell us the 'true' minimum specs required to play the game and what machine did you test the game on? I'm borderline with those required on the back of the box and I can tell you its not playable or enjoyable. I am hoping that I have the same problem as everyone else with the FPS stuttering. At 30 - 40 FPS, its playable and I'm more than happy running at minimum settings untill I get a new PC. Cheers |

Now if only they had an offical forum maybe we would feel like a wanted community.
The excuse for not having one is a joke and Im not happy the US site looks like it is good while the euro players get a buggy website with none of the features the US does. |

You ain't listening, I'm running around in stonetroll getting 1 fps the ENTIRE game. It's not my comp, it's your horrible programmers that don't have a clue how to program. Please hire Blizzard devs. I'll be giving blizzard my money until you fix this game.

I have to echo the statements of those who said "actions speak louder than words".
Not only will the game not run but I ran dxdiag and attached it to the support web form and that has failed all day to actually submit. I finally called the support number and waited 45 minutes listening to an endless loop of some horrible emo music before finally having to hang up. Im gonna give Mythic one more try tomorrow and if they can't at least answer the phone I will be getting my money back. |

thx a lot im really happy to know that ur aware we r having a lot of problem
the thing that is thicking me a bit is i dont mind waiting for the game to be fixed (presently i have gone from 30 min between crash to 10 sec) i want play this game bad and dont mind waiting but i might say that paying for my account plus my wife plus my friend one for this is kindda costy so will we get some free time one day or is it really at our fee anyway keep up the good work the game seems to be awesome so far minus the bugs ^^ |
