Hi.

I'm Gildridge Axegridner, Guild Master of Legendary Warriors.

We have decided to make our home here in Ironfist, and we're looking for good, solid members who want to have fun, but want to achieve excellence in their chosen classes. We plan to cater to the semi-hardcore and casual player base with the desire to experience all that WAR has to offer.

We believe in loyalty, friendship, unity, organization, and communication as the staples of what our guild will represent on Ironfist.

All classes are open, as well as the majority of our Officer Ranks. We do not promote through nepetism here at LW. We honor hard work and merit. If you have earned it, then an Officer Rank is yours.

We're looking forward to forming alliances with other Ironfist guilds, so that we can show the Destruction players their numbers will mean nothing in the face of our unity, commradary, and commitment to being the last ones standing on the field of battle.

Hi again, members of Ironfist.

LW is getting close to ending its first recruitment wave and temporarily closing its doors. We have a few spots left, roughly five or six, so please keep the apps coming. Once we close the doors, however, no applications will be accepted for at least three weeks. You can still send them in, and while we will respond to you and keep them, they will not go under review until we begin our second recruitment wave.

However, please do not think we don't want to get to know you. If during this period of closed door you are interested in LW, feel free to get to know members of LW and adventure with us.

During our Closed Door period we will be taking care of organizing the guild ranks and such to better provide a quality experience when playing WAR. So if you think you have something to contribute, know that we are still a merit based guild who rewards effort, ability, and general attitude when it comes to assigning officer ranks, and that it will be an open field once we end the first wave.

So again, thanks to all our current members for joining up, and I call those who are still looking for that solid guild experience to check us out.

Okay, so we at LW are extending our first recruitment wave a little longer due to Saturday night's events in Marshes and Barak Varr.

While we were able to take both keeps in rapid succession (good job everyone as well as those who tagged along once we figured it out the correct non-zerg method for victory) we soon got zerged out of them by Destro despite a valient defensive effort at Marshes.

Now, while we have not changed who we plan to be as a guild, ie we will not let ourselves be forced into becoming a zerg guild, we have decided to go a little farther towards our eventual total goal before ending the first recruitment wave.

So...there are still roughly 15 spots open if my math is correct.

All classes are welcome to apply, but we are still taking keen interests in all quality DPS players that are still looking for a good home (and yes we are couple friendly). Primarilly we could use infusions of WH's, WL's, SW's, and Engineers, but don't not apply if you are another class (can never have too many tanks and healers IMHO). We give every app a fair look.

Also note that LW is heading up the Guardians of Ironfist alliance, so you guild leaders looking for someone to work with drop me a line. If we're going to win this, we need to start working together.

LW is once more nearing the end of our first recruitment wave. We have single digit spots left now. What you applicants need to know:

1- We are closed to tanks until the second recruitment period. Sorry, but we have more than enough for the time being. If you are a tank applying after you have read this post, and you were on the fence leaning towards applying, you'll have to wait til sometime at the end of this month or early November.

We are also closed to Bright Wizards. Future applications apply same as above.

2- Top Priority Classes we are looking for:

Healers: a few members within the guild have switch off being healers to melee alts, so we are looking for a few more to rebalance things out.

Witch Hunters: One of our less populated classes, I'd love to have a couple more.

Engineers: I just want one or two more to top off the ones we already have.

3: All remaining classes please feel free to continuing applying. Just know that if your app arrives at the same time as a priority class app, you may not get the nod.


That's where things stand atm. Currently our membership base is leveling up in preperation for making a guild wide push into Tier 3 where we hope to make our presence felt both in Open field and scenarios.

Also to midrange level guilds, the Guardians of Ironfist alliance is look for solid membes who want to work as a team to wage the battle across WAR. Guild leaders or appointed guild representatives please feel free to contact me via PM here, email, in game mail, or just send me a tell.

LW will officially be ending it's first round of recruitment as of 12:00 AM EST next Monday. We have a couple of spots left, so now is the time to decide if you want to give us a try.

Any of the three healers

Other classes not listed directly above will still be considered, but if a healer or Engineer app arrives at the same time they will get priority. We really are closed to those other listed jobs, and the best I can do if you apply is hold your app until November when we will be recruiting again.

It's still roughly 45 mins off...but I'm going to bed, so LW is officially closed to recruitment until November. Apps time stamped before midnight EST will still be accepted for review.

LW is opening its doors for recruiting once again. Due to quitting and some job rerolling we've got even more spots open for this second round of recruiting than we expected. We also still have some higher and lower rank officer spots open, and being we are a merit guild, anyone who shows potential and dedication can have an opportunity to join those ranks.

What we are looking for the most:

Healers and DPS: Healers and DPS's will get priority as the applications come in. That being said, all jobs are still welcome to apply so send 'em in.

Hi there, Ironfist.

Back again to promote LW. As with many other moderate to small guilds, we're suffering some lulls in our membership due to a combination of inactivity brought on by a mulitude of things: outright quitting of the game, returns to WoW, New console games, and plain old burn out.

So, any restrictions to classes has been removed, and we are welcoming all class applications once more. Now, applications do go under review by LW's higher ranking officers, so if you are applying know it will take a couple of days before you get the In or Out answer, though I do reply quickly when we receieve your application.

Our most active members are spread out between Tiers 2 and 4, so there is something there for everyone. If you check out our forum (link in the sig), you'll see we are still casual-semi hardcore, which means I and the other officers are not all over you to level your butts off in a hurry. We want you to have fun, but at this time we are also looking for a fresh supply of regularly active players to help reinvigorate us. Our goal is to be a productive, active guild (in conjunction with our own alliance members) in Tier 4 so we can contribute to the overall efforts of Order, but as with many smaller guilds we lack the concentrated numbers and regularity to do so.

However, despite aspirations of being a relatively moderate to large guild, we at LW still believe in quality over quantity. So if you are sure you are sticking with WAR, play on a decently regular basis, want to have fun yet desire to gather with others who have the desire to excel and achieve the best WAR has to offer, then I continue to invite you to come check us out.

Hi. Back again because LW has gone through some minor restructuring.

After being a part of the push to the Orc Fortress last night (great job everyone who was there), I realized that those of us at LW have over reached considering the fledgling guild that we are.

Our previous Officer Rank set up was and is not right for the way we currently or, or for that matter the way WAR is played. We are not on an RP server, and I think I got a little too into the concept of a well organized command structure when I and others put it together months and months ago.

Therefore, I have redone our Officer Ranks to make them seem more...well normal. I know that many probably don't care or give a damn, but I'm posting this for those who may have thought about joining us, but thought that our command structure was being approached all wrong.

Well, it was, and I've changed it to be simple and straighforward without that rigid feeling of authority it may have been vibing. We are not a rigid guild with set ways and "do it like this" mentality. As we are now we are a group of skilled players just trying to find a way to put together a good thing so that we can put forth a significant contribution to Order.

I personally felt bad last night that I was not able to bring anyone to the Fortress rush to help out for the simple fact we are few and our highest levels were not even on.

So that's all, and I hope that some give us what must be a third or fourth chance in checking us out.

Our rules and such have not changed in terms of morality and sensible play, but I hope it is evident that my attempt in changing the officer ranks shows we are trying to evolve into how WAR is played and what its population likes to do.
