VN Boards is part of the IGN network, and the VN Boards have been Mythic's "go-to" board since DAoC. Why is this such a hard concept to grasp?

I really hate the way Mythic does things on every level. This is just one example of how much of a crappy company they are. I was very vocal on all of the crappy things Blizzard did when i played wow, but I got to admit Mythic is 100 times worse. Just look at the 1.05 patch. I have not heard 1 person day anything good about it, so what a failure it is. Pretty funny seeing as how Mark was trying to hype it up as the patch that every class gets "love" with only a couple of nerfs. When will that guy stop lying? Who cares if he posts here anyway? From now on when Mark Jacobs says something expect the opposite is my advice.

This is frustrating. I love the community managers. It just takes so much work to get attention drawn to important issues here, still. I'm not crying, going Emo, or whatever, but it took 5+ links, plus someone actually cutting and pasting *my* thread here into VN for it to get acknowledged. I'm not throwing anyone under the bus, but that sucks.

A reason I use this board is because I can so easily link to the WarDB. It helps to have the spell/ability details directly in a post without going back and forth between the two. The other reason was that, well...I was a bad guy back in my DAoC days. A few baith threads, some hate for other realms and rant that would make Tweety blush, and I wound up with an IP ban from VN as a whole. Do I regret it? Yeah. I'm still dedicated to gathering information for the Chosen community here. It just sucks that I can't cross maintain it on a board that is more blatently observed than this one.

Yes, they picked VN. Just to say it again, hoping to drive the point home... They picked VN SEVEN YEARS AGO. Yes, seven years ago....

Honestly, we can only post "we're listening and reading" so many times before it starts to sound insincere.

Our team spends many hours a day reading the boards and compiling reports based on information we've gleaned from posts on the many boards. I honestly wish I could respond to each and every post, but unfortunately I've yet to discover how to add extra hours to a day .

To be short, please, keep the feedback coming, it's invaluable to us and we definitely want it.

I think the problem isn't so much w don't think you're listening, it's more the other side of communication: hearing something back. People are often confused as to what is happening with patches & balancing, why some decisions are made, why some mechanics are done certain ways, etc.. Now no one expect a huge explanation on a lot of the issue, but on issues that are particuarly hot topics I think people would be comforted in hearing the 'hey guys, the reason we did it this way was because...'.

Just listening isn't really communication, that's a little one sided. As much as you guys like getting feedback, so do we.
