Perma-Trial with an old inactive account?

Pardon me if this is in the wrong forum...

I played Warhammer for a while, then left due to family, etc issues. Thinking about coming back, but I want to try it out first, play around with the different classes, etc... and thought hey, this perma-trial thing sounds great!

Only question is, do I have to create a "brand new" account? Or are all inactive accounts now "perma-trial"? (The only reason I ask is that I would hate to get, say, 4 classes to level 10, find the one i like, then have to start back at 1. but i don't want to tell my wife i need to shell out another $50 for the game).

And if inactive accounts aren't given Perma-Trial status, will reenlisting make it a trial account?

Other question here but i tough ima use this topic coz question is about trial too,

So whats the deal with the neverending trial?
I cant find info anywere or i didnt look good

1: are you limited only to T1 as in normal trial?
2: can you really play months and it will be active?
3: if you can play free it has to have some downsides, wich are???

I believe you cannot use the mailbox either, or join a guild. You can still twink out your toons, but you will need to have an active account, or a friend who will do the purchasing and transporting of gear/talis for you.

Endless free play sounds good, but it is pretty limited. I believe the only purpose of it is to create the illusion that there is a lot of activity on the servers.
