After the launch of Curse Client 3.0, we began taking notes on the most frequent user requests, complaints, and general feedback. The result of this feedback is Curse Client v4. In development since May, Curse Client v4 has been redesigned from the ground up to offer a more user-friendly Curse experience.

no, why should they have to bother with making the exact same pictures but with war icons?

The char update feature is not even part of v4. It is just not there. And the Curse Profiler addon is marked as orphaned in curseforge.com

Either they kicked the feature entirely or they are working on a new character update solution. But so far their communication skills are really lacking in that regard since there has been no information about it so far.

And with the missing char update there are no more item updates in the database of wardb.com. The entire thing becomes useless except that we get a new shiny interface to manage our addons....at least to me that sounds like a bad deal
