heavenfall how come you know so much about hackers?

is what you say pure speculation or are you one of them and now breaking your oath for us because you like the spirit of warhammer so much and want to encourage fair play?

i think (pure common sence) that hackers indeed are challenged by technical difficulties so if the mythic team is so bad as you say what the heck (or hack?) are those hackers doing then in warhammer?

i think the most 'hackers' that play long and continuously are kids that got their hand on some kind of weird hacking tool, which (if a kid can) the mythic devs should very easy be able to put their hands on as well.

if we have any expert hackers that play long term and often in our magnificent community i hope and would like to trust that they protect it instead of try to ruin it...

nothing beats the feeling of winning a fair fight. zerging is boring, being zerged is boring, winning because you hacked is boring.

i would like to send a message to all our long-term-playing-proffesional-hackers:
please help fix the bugs in our beloved and great game, thats your technological challenge, and if that still bores you i have another for you: optimize the client server tec so we can play 500 to 500 battles without lag on the serverly downgraded machines GOA has running currently.
also spam the world to get more players so we actually have enough players to fill up the spaces in those 500 vs 500 epic fights.

I made my post to highlight that Mythic are trying to say that they are effectively fighting down hackers, but that simply isn't the case. I've never used a hack in warhammer. But then again you absolutely cannot trust me saying that. Noone would admit it, unless they were no longer playing or already banned.

The challenge is not to "break the hardest ruleset" but to gain the most from it. Different hackers strive for different objectives, and thus different hacks accomplish different things.

The majority, no doubt. However, even some public tools for WAR have been around for a long time and are still used extensively (with a few updates ofc). I'm talking about the tools the majority doesn't know about.

Hackers pursue their own goals. Rarely does that mean making the game better for everyone. At best I think you'd find hacks that don't directly damage the game.
