No he didn't what he said is pretty much spot on it's just a few die hard fans who just can't see or refuse to see it.

Living changing citys don't make me laugh how is unlocking a few extra quests and dungeons a "living city".

Trophies really are pathetic alot of people I know don't even bother with them instead of been items that really make your character stand out you can barely see most of them.

Fable 2 did living cities better than Warhammer. The main city was great! I love Altdorf but it's def not living.

Have to agree, Trophies are awful for the most part. Theres too much awesomeness in the WAR universe to just do it half-assed. I mean really think about it. The possibilities are endless. I'm fed up with these crap hunks of junk just stuck onto your character... they don't even move.

Theres alot of potential for trophies to be really awesome...of the top of my head...

Greenskins... a rope bag of snotlings hanging from a black orc belts? Swaying around, arms reaching out, maybe even the odd gibbering.

Engineers... rotating gear monocles? Clanking tools?

I would just love to see some animated trophies, in my opinion a string of orc ears should bob around and not just hang limp.

Did they patch trophies and I missed it? Are we now able to put trophies on our standards?

Otherwise Trophies where half put in release like much of the rest of the game..it was half released.

Yes not to much was cut at release if anything, the did most of the cutting in beta and just never fully finished things. I think the list of finished things vs unfinished/half arsed finish things would be just horrible. (and I am not talking class balance here as that is a never ended thing really in any game).

But I must say been loving the free trial system. But they need to change things soon as well before it is overly abused.

Change the level cap to 12 or make talismens only usuable once you hit lvl 11 and same goes for pots.

If you want to allow pots and such then make sure you turn off trade/mail/ah system on trial accounts. Have not tested it yet but if you can apprentice(could prior to the endless free trial) they need to turn that off as well on trial accounts to stop the possible abuse of liniments in T1.

Back when I was playing (earlier this year, until around may) trophies might as well have not existed. Most didn't show up at all when equipped, the few that did were unremarkable (a little blue gem, etc).

I also really felt like the cities were unremarkable - I'm not sure what "living cities" is supposed to mean exactly, but Altdorf and IC didn't seem any more alive than Ironforge, etc or the cities in FFXI for that matter.

IMO - the quests in Altdorf were terrible, confusing and requiring a lot of running around. Some having me fighting mobs that were 10 levels above me!
