Some updates for the EU pre-order situation

Yeah my friend who called them about AoC preorder codes was told he would get the preorder codes for conan on the 15th. And the early start thing for AoC starts on the 17th so sounds like that person you spoke to is confused lol.

Anyway, i mean as in Open Beta = Guild Beta. The guild beta starts this week, what if its ALSO open-beta too. Since the NDA is going.

Do you have a source on this guild beta/NDA info? It's not something I've heard mentioned...

Just going to nip this in the bud before people start to get overexcited. Guild beta does not start this week, neither will the NDA drop with guild beta.

We don't currently have a timetable that we can make public for these phases of beta but the general plan is still that guild beta will happen before open beta and open beta is when the NDA drops (which is why it's called 'open' beta because the information from it will be open). Guild beta is still planned as part of the closed beta.

@IainC GOA: Is there any chance of us finding out how the sales of the CE are going? It might help to ease some of the pressure some of us (the portion of the EU market not covered by CE retailers) who are waiting for the fabled 'pan-european' distributer and at least give us the feeling of our chances of getting hold of one. Rough numbers are fine, as long as we get the feeling 'half CE's sold', or 'so far roughly 12.000 CE's sold' ...

Official information in regards to how sales are being handled within regions, and how the CE's are getting distributed would be nice as well, as it would save us all a lot of trolling on forums, and getting upset over fake information and rumours.

I got a question, i ordered my collectors edition at bol.com (a dutch site) and they send me a "brochure" with codes and stuff in it.
Can i input the codes somewhere already? can't seem to find any info on this on www.war-europe.com where i got an account

I currently live in Berlin, Germany, but i just recently moved here, as like 2 months ago, from the UK, and i pre-ordered the CE of warhammer online, from Play.com using my UK address which is my Mothers address as that is where i was lived and my UK bank accounts are registered there and paid with my UK Visa debit card, but i requested on play.com for the delivery address to be sent to my current Germany address.

My question is, will they cancil my order or ship it out to my germany address?

I'f still have it shipped to the UK if I were you and then ahve your mother ship it to germany. It would cost maybe a few pounds more to ship it to germany.

Any news on when Play.com will be sending out their pre-order packs? Mid May now and no sign of anything arriving.

You should have received pre-order packs a while ago I guess, since all other providers have provided them to people. The CE will have to wait to somewhere this summer though.

I rang them friday and they told me straight away they were waiting on EA for the Packs and would expect them any day now.

I am excited by this but also a bit cautious, seeing as other countries have got theres already.
