So, who wants to pay for my Games Day Baltimore pass so I can stalk the devs?

Jeff is my hero. I'm only 4 or 5 hours out, maybe I'll make the trip! Hopefully it'll be a Greenskin presentation!

The check is in the mail, but don't blame me if it gets lost.

I'd just love to see Mythic brave the grit of Detroit for a brief visit. Hey Mythic, we'll give you a car that gets crappy mileage if you come!

Lesson learned: Mythic guys love Baltimore..

Future plan for myself: make friends in Baltimore and teach them the ways of WAR

Benefits to gain: can ask friends to visit the Baltimore's Convention. Mythic guys then will fall in love with my friends (them being from Baltimore), my friends obviously love me. So that means Mythic will love me! That's my masterplan!

Funny part about this thread: Mostly everyone who is probably going could careless about actual Warhammer and care more about WAR and are going to spend the 45 bucks just to look or even attempt to play it.

Not really. I have gone to Gamesdays since the late 90's and they have always been packed houses. the TT game has a HUGE fanbase. I am sure SOME peopel will be goign jsut for WAR but there will probably be some TT players there that are getting their first taste of WAR too.

I think many from the church of WARism will make the pilgrimage this year, but I know most of the PoD peeps who go are long term TT fans also.

Paul gave us shades last year at GDUK, we already have the T-shirts from the year before...

I want WAR brand trousers this year. My size is FB.

On a more serious note, will we get a bigger booth for WAR at the UK event this time? Last year was a tiny little cubby hole and everyone had a good whine about that, especially as a crappy console game got center stage.

I'm sure it will be a blast.

I went to Baltimore for the 2001 GrandTournament. Drove all the way from Texas with 5 other guys, non-stop. Can you say ROAD TRIP! Everything past Little Rock was a blur, mostly, but I remember Balt being fun, that and my brother got us a tour of GW while we were there (he worked there then).

Only way it could have been better would be to check out WAR, and the team, but then I was about 4 years too early.

Someone please do write up with photos and/or vid. Thanks in advance.

I think paul would be more likely to dress up in a more bloodied high elf costume.....because it's chaos of course

Thats the main reason for going. To continue to reach out to new fans. Perfect place to do it at. A place where people are already paying forty bucks to get into. They love warhammer and they have money. Perfect.

Folks,

I'm so bummed, I was all set to go and then the ever-popular "Family obligation" came up. Of course, it was accompanied by the even-more-popular "Attend or else you will spend the rest of your life being made to regret your ill-advised decision" so...

Bah...

Enjoy it all, it will be a blast.
