What could Mythic do to regain your trust?

Personally I am glad they had the guts to make the big decisions rather than try to cover up something not working to avoid the crappy pr. IMHO the removed classes will open more room to add NEW classes post launch ; same with the cities. I'm very surprised people took the news as hard as they did, is beta not the time to make these kind of changes?

I would be happy if they explain how they are gonna fill the spots of the classes they just cut.

I want to tank, but I don't want to be the classes they have for us. Chosen and Black Ork are going to be very popular. And I am not rolling some ugly stuntie or girly elf.

Blackguard and Knight of the Blazing sun were the two things I was highly looking forward to hearing about..Mostly because I wanted to be somebody you don't see very often. Like a Female dwarf.

I would also be happy if I didn't have to Roll Chaos just because I would like to have a city to call home. :\

Very disappointing to say the least.

At least Mythic has the balls to do it. I hope they make up for it though. Christ.

I think they need to be constantly updating us on the state of the four capital cities and the four classes.

When the end game as it stands now works during Open Beta, people will regain some trust again (of course the rest needs to be good as well). And for the rest Mythic needs to be very open in the next months and really show about everything they can show about the game, more so than before.

As to the three things mentioned above: done, we hope and done. 2/3 ain't bad is it? And for the one that we can't do yet (since we're not in open beta yet), we'll just have to see how things shake out. Hopefully we'll get all three but as always, time will tell.

So if I am reading that last post right people who Didn't pay for the CE are going to be in open beta as well? Aside from those who are already in beta of course... If thats the case feels like chipping away at the stuff ordering the CE was supposed to offer.

They havn't lost my trust. By making the cuts, they are sticking to their integrity. Instead of making 6 cookie cutter cities they will be makeing six unique cities. It just so happens they don't have enough time, so we won't get the other four for a few weeks to a month (Maybe a bit longer).

I know alot of people ordered CE just for Open beta and Headstart, but you cant deny that there is alot of stuff in the CE other then the Open beta.

No, I said that we are going to be inviting more people to the Open Beta than we originally intended. CEs also get the Head Start which is not the same as Open Beta . We wipe characters after the OB, we don't with the Head Start. That's one of the perks. The Open Beta is both an opportunity to play the game but also to make sure that certain key systems are ready to go for launch day. For that we need masses of people. When the Head Start begins, the game is officially LIVE.

Honestly I am not sure they can, as MBJ knows we are dwarfs...and we will remember this for quite some time.

Even if at E3 and in Beta they impress the crap outa me I dont tihnk I will ever view Mythic with the trust adn respect I once did.

If they can get the classes in...at least the tanks minimum, they will make alot of progress towards that trust being regained.

Again this isnt about any particualr person, like you MBJ, I really apprecaite you sticking at the forums in the difficult times, but I have felt very much wronged by this announcment and how things took place

As long as the "exclusive content" is actually cool/useful and the "Head start" is more than two days, I'll be fairly content.
