NOTES:

HOW BESTIAL TOME TACTICS WORK:
Several Tactics require multiple unlocks in order to activate. You can tell if you have activated one by going to Rewards ---> Tactics in your ToK. Once you have completed a Tome Tactic, you must go to a Librarian in your capital city to purchase it. After that you may then equip it like you would a Career tactic, except in the Tome Tactic slot.
TIP: For any unlock hunters on open RvR servers, try and get all the unlocks from a zone before you out-level it. The reason is because on open RvR you are flagged for RvR everywhere if you are too high for a zone you will get turned into a chicken as soon as you zone and if the unlock requires you to kill something then you're out of luck.
NOTE: Concerning partial Tactics: according to the ToK, when there is a pentagon with a sword next to an entry, it's a partial tome tactic unlock. In order to see this icon, go to (for example): Bestiary ---> Trolls ---> Troll, River ---> O'de Toilet. Partials are based off of how many tactic unlocks there are in a given section (such as dwarves is a section, and beasts is a section). (Wilken & Wykk)

HOW POCKET ITEMS WORK:
Once a pocket item is unlocked, you may acquire said item from one of the Librarians in your capital city. One may acquire as many duplicates of the same item as they desire. NOTE: To use a pocket item, simply affix a hot-button from your armor screen to your action bar. Then click it to view your special effect!

HOW BEAST TOKENS WORK:
Once a beast token is earned, go to the Librarian in your capital city. Notice that there are several Librarians to choose from. Find the one who sells trophies and exchange your token for ANY ONE of them. NOTE: Beast Tokens are NOT for anything specific. There is no Tome entry telling you to go buy something. You can buy any of the tome trophies with a token, and each token can only buy a trophy once. Beast tokens are basically money for trophies. Check on how many token you have by entering your inventory and looking at the Quest Items. (Thanat0s & lasmrah)

HOW KILL COLLECTORS WORK:
Kill Collector quests are capable of being maxed out if you repeat them enough. Once maxed out a player may (but not always) receive a reward in the form of items or Tactic Unlocks. It should be noted that not every Kill Collector will give an unlock for being maxed out. (notalltogether)

HOW KILL 1000S WORK:
All the Kill 1000 of (Dwarf, Greenskins, Chaos, Empire, HE & DE) give you the requisite Destroyer, one pip trophies. The only time the 1000's differ is with non-character race mobs. Kill 10,000's typically give a title but who knows until they are all unlocked! Venar is the first recorded player to open the unlock for killing 100,000.(Puddles404)

SKAVEN TOME TACTIC
WARNING: Buggy!
(O) ALTDORF @ 24, 27. There are two houses right next to each other, each with skaven in them. Kill the Skaven (L15) inside. The woman outside the house will cry about 'beasties' in her house. This will spawn a L19 Hero Skaven. Kill this Skaven for the unlock. NOTE: Must achieve killing blow.
ALTERNATE METHOD: (O) The mob also appears in the sewers and may be killed for the unlock. Killing blow is required. (Bilious)

AVELORN. Spawns on the road, on the S side of the (O) camp. He is with another non-named bestigor and attacks @ the Ch12 town. Kill him and you will get the unlock and the ability to buy the Pelt of the Dark Young cloak.

(O) AVELORN @ 58.5, 62 or 47, 45. Kill this L25 skeleton champ. NOTE: May require a trigger to populate, have a placeholder, or be on a long timer. TIP: The ToK places the mob in the Bone Giant category, but it looks like a normal sized skeleton.
NOTE: Confirmed report of going to 58.5, 62, killing the Font Dreadguards that surround the Font of Shyish, then destroyed the Font of Shyish at that location. Then running to 47, 45 and killing the Font Dreadguards. As the last died the mob immediately spawned. Attempts to reproduce the results two more times were unsuccessful. (Shrub)

BLACK CRAG @ 6.5, 24 THEN ---> 1.3, 24.5. L31 mob found outside and later inside the Despair Pits. First, kill it outside the cave and then venture into the cave where he spawns in the back. Kill him there for the unlock.
NOTE: Spawn repop between the two mobs is short, if not instant.
FURTHER: You need only kill the Rockmaw who is inside, but sometimes you need to kill him outside to get him to spawn inside. (SlothBear)

BLACK CRAG. Enter the Despair Pits (middle of W border). In the N end of the cave, there's something on the ground that you can interact with called Drul's Lunch. Interacting with it gives you a text saying you could poison. Go to the S end of the cave & kill Skittering Spiders to get a Poison Gland. Then interact with Drul's Lunch to get the unlock.

NOTE: If this doesn't work, try reversing the process. Kill Firestrike first, then Crushclaw.
(D) CALEDOR @ 44, 5. Kill Firestrike to get Giant Scorpion Stinger. Then go to (O) side of Caledor @ 50, 45 (via Dragonwake @ 15, 45 and jump to ally side zone. Then go to Dragonwake 2, 60 to take the little secret stage) and kill the champ scorpion mob you find there.

3. Hug the outside wall of the (O) Ch22 camp and go to the back and jump down to the road, or jump down before the camp, but be careful.
(O) DIRECTIONS:
1. Start in the Dragonwake warcamp.
2. Enter the RvR area.
3. SW of Covenant of Flame (and E of Pelgorath's Ember), go through the hills to the (O) side.
4. Go through the camp of DEs to the road and go W.
5. Where the road hits it's southernmost point, go SW onto an unmapped path that leads to the SW corner of the Dragonwake map. This road leads into Caledor.

2: @ 60, 33 there is a "Battered Strongbox" at the Reaping Field PQ E of the Empire Warcamp. It may be hard to see initially, somewhat hidden behind a bush at the back end of the PQ near the hills. Clicking on the Strongbox will spawn a L39 Champ. Kill it.
(D) CHAOS WASTES @ 38.5, 12.5. Rt Click Mihkail for the Talisman Key Then go to the "Battered Strongbox" at 60, 33. Clicking on the Strongbox will put a Skull in your inventory. Click the skull to spawn a L39 Champ. Kill it.

The oddest feature is the cracked mirror that you pry from the statues fingers." Rt clicking on the mirror to make this L37 mob appear. Kill it for: Wordbreaker Band part of "The Winds Impervious" set.
TIP: You can climb up the mt @ 46.5, 41 and then work your way through it.

2. @ 57, 57k --->Undead Elven Skull @ entrance to cave with 4 vultures in (D) zone.
3. @ 64, 50k--->Undead Human Skull in first room with ogre and bright wizards inside.
NOTE: You need all three skulls to get the unlock.

CINDERFALL @ 44, 2.5. This L36 mob spawns in the N cave, that you trigger by interacting with a "Pile of Rocks" found one lvl below the main lvl of this cave. After killing it I got the unlock "Wulgrig", 9th in the list under zombie. Also acquired the first undead tactic after 4 undead tome tactic unlocks called: Undead Chill.
(D) NOTE: (D) players cannot interact with the rocks, but after approaching them a few times he may spawn. UPDATE: if you get the scout quest on the spiral down to the lower level, the 2nd part of the quest will make Wulgrig spawn. Also, kill a bunch of engineers and he'll eventually spawn. I don't think it had anything to do with approaching rocks. I was completely out of the room on the other side when I saw he had spawned.

To find it, stand on the true S side of the black hills and face the frozen side (N), on your mini map you will see the part of the ice flow that bulges outwardly into the lake. Exactly E of the S tip (of the bulge) is the body. Another landmark would be referenced by the bulge as well. The first little "crack" in the ice that is E of the bulge. Go roughly S of there. Slowly click (do not move your mouse while clicking or you'll just rotate the camera and war wont register the click)
NOTE: Daytime may be a factor in finding the body and "thawing" him out.

Best advice is to wait for him in the NPC area, he'll pass right on by. NOTE: Sometimes he can take up to 3 hours to spawn. Also he can be bugged and ghost through walls.

CSR CONFIRMATION:
The spawn cycle of Purple Horror is bugged and until fixed by Mythic the only way to find the mob is to either luck out and hope people haven't been killing the Blue/Pink/Purple Horrors to wreck the spawn cycle, or wait until a zone/server reset.
DETAILS:

Melicia contacted a CSR and requested her to look into the spawn rate of the Purple Horror to determine whether it was bugged. The CSR went into detail about how the Purple Horror spawn works, which is extremely simple: kill Blue and Pink Horrors until a Purple Horror spawns.

The problem with that, is that currently the spawning is horrifically bugged! It only works properly in the first few 'spawn cycles' (which is why this Tome unlock is easy to get on low-population servers--nobody is killing the horrors!--and why it can easily be obtained after a server or zone reset).

Whilst the CSR was speaking to me, oddly enough the T2 zones on Dark Crag crashed. I was thrown back to the character select screen and about five minutes later was able to log back in. The T2 zone had reset and I went back to fighting horrors. Within seconds I came across the Purple Horror (and minutes later, NINE OTHERS) who had eluded me for hours upon hours.

I verified the CSR's information concerning the bugged spawn by staying around and killing the horrors for an hour more. But after an hour or so of killing them, the spawn rate slowed dramatically. (Melicia)

The ring goes in your regular, not quest inventory. Then, travel QUICKLY SE to the graves near the catacombs. Go to Hilde Behn's gravestone where she will spawn very briefly. Click on her as you would a quest mob to complete the task and unlock the item: Grave Dust.

Kill a Drakk Cultist. Any Cultist up there should do, but it may take multiple kills for the unlock to trigger (confirmed at 5 kills).
(D) Getting the Drakk Cultists to pop is tricky because they are an (O) PQ mob. First, use the barrels to blow up all the big bones scattered throughout the area in front of the cave. Don't forget the ones hiding up on the cliff face to the N. For the next stage of the PQ you can either wait for the timer to run out (10 minutes) or kill all the mobs which will spawn a champ mob and then you may kill that, too. Finally, the area will repopulate with Drakk Cultists that you may kill at your pleasure.

Here's some info that has been apparently lacking: the game DOES tell you how many bestial tokens you have! They appear under the Quest Items tab in your inventory.
