Altdorf is under attack on Karak Eight Peaks (EU)

Destruction managed to capture the Dwarven and Empire T4 in a few hours if not minutes tonight and now they are attacking Altdorf.

I can clearly recall Mythic stating that for this to happen it will take weeks and this is not something that can be done in a night.

So this must be a bug, I cant think anything else. It should be a bug.

It's not a bug, it's called "Let's give Destruction all the cool classes and hope order will somehow stay on even footing".

Seriously though, this was to be expected, since there simply aren't enough T4 players around right now a single hardcore group that doesn't do anything but play WAR can roll through T4 battlezones with very little opposition.

This will stop as soon as there are more T4 players around, though yea, Altdorf will still be under siege every other week unless Mythic can somehow up the coolness of the Order forces.

Well its not that I don't like to lose. I accept loss as I accept victory.
Thing is that if the campaign can be finished in a few hours there is no point in the whole game. Don't misjudge me, I love WAR but if it is that easy to capture a city my guess is that we will see lots and lots of late night ninja city sieges and thats just lame and pointless.

It's likely that they captured it because there was no T4 order to hold them back like there will be in a normal situation.

Yep. You just gotta level up and fight back. Outcome will be a lot different.

he has a point. It doesnt take much to capture the whole map with 1 group at 5am or something.

There should be something to prevent this like a "hold all the keeps for 1 day" or the campaign will become "who has more people working in nighsifts".


I know on my server, destruction is quite active at night. They dont manage to get our keeps at peak times, but the next morning, the whole world has turned red. Over the day they it will become blue again just to turn red at 6 am again.

This is basically just the first of whats going to happen across most of the currently destro dominated servers.

Its going to get worse after 2 or 3 sackings of Altdorf, since I think quite a few Order players will switch en masse to the other side. Morale right now is already pretty bad on the Order side.
