((RP Event: Order)) Storytelling Night Every Sunday!

*A notice distributed and posted in pubs, taverns and inns throughout the realms of Order*

Greetings and Blessings to All,

I would like to cordially invite every citizen of the Empire, Asur, and dwarf to meet at the Grey Lady Coaching Inn in Nordland at 8:00 PM (EST) on Sunday Nights every week. This will be an excellent opportunity for us to report, coordinate our regiments, and also to relax and enjoy an evening of conversation. I have spoken with both Innkeeper Svetla and Lieutenant Weaver, and they have agreed to make the Inn and its grounds available for this purpose.

The Laughing Host Regiment will be arranging for stories to be told on these nights. The tales and lore of our cultures will be defended and preserved by the telling. This Sunday, the 18th, there will be three stories, all regarding the greatest heros of the elves, the Empire, and the Dwarves.

((OOC: During the Second Summit of Order, it was agreed that to encourage roleplay on our server, a regularly scheduled roleplaying even would be a great idea. So here is our "Tavern Night!" Stanislaw read the notice several times, prodding every word for whatever hidden meaning it might bear. An evening of storytelling sure sounded harmless enough, but he could never tell these days.

A longing sigh slipped between the man's lips, and he caught it short with a clenched jaw. It had been a long time since he simply sat somewhere and talked to someone. Being sociable wouldn't be such a rich indulgence, now would it?

Yes, he would go. But he wouldn't let his guard down.

Dagnor read the note posted at the bank carefully. "Bah, durn Elves," he muttered to himself. "It be so hard to deal with them sometimes..." He set his rifle down, leaning it carefully against the wall. He then pulled a small book from under his belt and carefully copied the name of the signee, then filled the rest of the page with small scribbles detailing the disrespect. Finally, he used the same pen to capitalize the word "Dwarf" in the first sentence on the note. Satisfied for now, Dagnor slung his rifle over his shoulder and walked towards the nearest pub, where he saw another one of the offensive signs.

"Durn it all!" He exclaimed, drawing worried stares from nearby people. He quickly corrected the egregious insult, and made a notation in his book. "Keep, give me a pint of yer strongest stuff, and make it a cheap cup 'cause I be takin' it with me. Got lots of disrespect to be fixin' this day."

((Hopefully I'll be there, though undoubtably a bit surly after such a blatent insult :P ))

((As I said at the meeting, Sundays are the only days I can 100% definitely not make any events, but as I ALSO said, you'll never find a time everyone can make things. I hope the events end up going well. ))
