Will you Subscribe to Warhammer Online?

Hello here at Warhammer Alliance,

I have a personal blog that I use to express my opinions and rants on MMO's. I've done a recent post called "Warhammer Online: Will You Subscribe?" - with the purpose of trying to find out how many people are planning on reupping, cancelling, moving back to WoW, or whatever.

The immediate question some people might ask is: why? It's true that personally, Warhammer Online didn't impress me. However, I'd still like to see the game succeed. I say this truthfully, as a long time PVP addict. As I wrote - "For a PVP oriented gamer like myself, this gives me a vested interest into the future and prosperity of Warhammer, as failure could pose problems for producing similar games in the future."

I'm using the polling feature here at WA, and I'd like to hear people's feedback on the current state of the game. Why are you staying, why are you quitting, why are you going back to WoW?

If I get enough response on this subject, the results will probably make some news sites like Massively and the Greenskin, among others.

No offense taken. I haven't found one that's that recent. Point me in the right direction and I'll be eternally grateful.

The poll being new is important because we've had the first game updates along with things like Altdorf falling happen in the last few days.

"No, I won't" - not right away anyway.

I will re-activate to try out the Blackguard & KotBS ( if they are introduced ), or for an expansion that adds new careers - if I like what I see at that time then I might become a long-term subscriber.

Thanks. I think I've realized an inherent problem with these sort of surveys: those that won't be reupping probably don't hang around the fansite boards very much.

I will be subscribing, but I checked both that box and the "another game in 3 mo" options because I tend not to play any MMO for more than 2-4 months at a time, no matter how good it is.

I was undecided about subscribing until the recent XP change (among other recent changes), which not only made me a lot happier about the game overall (especially alts), but also proved to me Mythic is listening to it's customers and is trying.

There's a limit on how much forum reading can be done trying to stay sane.

Anyway, there's no way that WA could ever get as bad as VN. It's bloody painful to read over there most of the time.

Hehe, yeah.

Old rule of thumb: enjoyment of any game is inversly proportional to the time spent reading the games forums.

I stick around here and VN in the hopes of seeing a community develop. I've been sadly disappointed thus far in that aspect of WH.

I really love the game, but unless they fix the CTD problem I will not subscribe.

I will not pay for a game that isnt working.

From the looks at all the polls the vast majority of people are.

I would take a guess that many people who decided not to play WAR won't bother hanging around the forums, though. And thus would not be voting on the polls.
