Real white lion armor exist in game SS included also favoritism towards destro

Well i just saw the latest grab bag from mythic revealing the white lion\\\'s t4 armor set. A few things came to mind, favoritism towards destro is evident. Furthermore the WL armor style is actually in the game, only its not for us to use. The marauder continues to get cookie after cookie and yet the WL keeps getting rocks and maybe a crumb or two what the marauder didnt eat.

Lets face a simple fact atm. MYTHIC doesnt know how to solve the problem. That problem being career and population imbalances. They think by offering an xp bonus on some servers for order will fix the issue. It wont. The issue isnt about xp. Its about getting people to play severely needed careers and on the side that needs them. Look, for everyone 1 IB there are 20 chosen, for every 1 WL there are about 20 marauders, and for every SM there are a dozen Black Orcs. Ok, so Mythic, in december, adds two more tanks to the game. Well what happens? If the IB is the best tank on order side and can dish out nasty dps, what happens when the Black Guard, the Dark Elf version of the IB appears? Its going to suck. IB vs BG. Looks wise and im sure dps wise, we are screwed. Our version of the chosen appears as the KOTBS, but the issue is, it wont be enough to offset the damage already done, when people could just roll a BG instead.

So here we have t4 armor sets. At lvl 31 my WL was able to get the ugly helm with the graphic problem (talking about the one with the hair coming out of it) and the shoulders with the liion head, as well as the current best chest piece for the WL (look wise). Well, I get to know that the next level of armor, the armor sets themselves, are a downgrade from what i have now. Its like im going back to Tier 3. Even worse, this armor is not actually appropriate to the lore, in which White Lions wear armored kilts and chest pieces. We are not seeing this at all. Mythic is trying to purposefully make order classes less \\\"bad \\\" ( its important in pvp games), because i really cannot see any other reason for continually making the opposite side, the mirrors, look different and better than the Order versions. They must know the imbalance is due to people NOT wanting to play certain order classes.

Anyways thats my rant, something needs to be done about this show of favoritism. I recommend everyone looks at the pics in the grab bag. Its a joke what Mythic is doing to us. We need to make some noise, because thats the only way they cave in. I am tired of playing an imbalanced game and you should be too.

The more I look at it the more I want to steal that Shining Guard's body armor.... That is exactly what I would've expected for T4 White Lion (Of course with our conehead helm and lion pelt shoulders of course)

It's complete and utter bulls***.

They have all the GW art AND miniatures to work from and yet the utterly fail to correctly represent the career in the game, not to mention the visual quality of items vs destruction.

Been playing my White Lion in hopes of at LEAST the high rank stuff would look properly...now Mythic proves it won't.
Not only does it look like the put zero effort in designing Order, but they are so obvious biased to destruction the entire population of the game can see it...

Despite all of this I'm not willing to give up on this game just yet, I love warhammer lore and this game still has potential(for me). Though if things like this is still happening 2 months from now then i'm shelfing the game.

In the mean time I'm going to send feedback reports every damned day until 1.1 patch is released regarding changing the robe into a gods damned armoured kilt (how hard can it be to design the career properly? They basically have a blueprint of it!), and how overall visual quality of Order sets needs to be improved....

My White Lion is 31. And IMO he looks so much better than a Conqueror-armoured White Lion. Ofc the dye scheme is just something I choose there and then...trying to find some silver-shining stuff.

There's a Swordmaster set. So it looks like they CAN actually design armour to look properly elven and good...they just don't do it for White Lions.

Thats exactly the point. The npc guard is wearing WL styled armor. What this means is armored knee high boots, the armored kilt and armored chest piece. Now, why didnt mythic use the proper WL style of armor if its already in the game? Im sure everyone realized this by now but the current WL armor is just the same model re-textured from t1-t4. Its basically the same piece of armor from the beginning to end, thus why not use one that is more fitting if its already in the game? Mythic\\\'s job at armor and their armor sets is completely horrible at this point.

Looks have a lot to do with the classes people play, and thats why its important as its necessary for game balance as well.

I'm sad to say that the best looking item we equip right now at r35+ is arguably our greataxe.


Mythic should really consider revamping all T4(r31+) body armor with the NPC Phoenix Guard's - maybe modify it to have less jewels and more leather (but keep the scale and kilt)

Then they should fix the Lion head shoulders so there are no clipping graphics and make all level 38+ WL shoulders have that model.

I do hope they address the armor with the WL. But, it must be remembered Destr. will always have that darker, more foreboding look. That BO does look like a walking tin can though, maybe there is soup inside?

The only thing I don't like about WL armor is the higher-level dead lion shoulder guards. Why would we be wearing a dead lion on our shoulders if lions are supposed to be our companions? Of course, I don't know anything about Warhammer lore, so I guess there could be some lore-based reason for this that I'm unaware of.

IIRC, according to the lore, they only make companions out of cubs they find. They kill any mature (wild) lions they come across.

In Warhammer lore the White Lion doesn't have a lion pet, he is a woodsman who becomes a White Lion by killing a mature White Lion and wearing it's pelt as a badge of honour, Mythic doctered the idea of the WL so that Order would have a pet class along with Destructions Squig Herder.
