Crazy Bug: I'm rank 41!

So the subject gives the basics; somehow my character managed to reach rank 41! Got each career tactic slot a level late too...

Anyway, I now find myself unable to participate in oRvR or scenarios, as my rank is too high! I'm really amused by how confused people are with a chicken running around tier 4. This is really annoying, however. Guess I'll just be running dungeons until it is fixed. At least the extra level is kinda nice there.

Which brings me to my question; I put in an appeal and for once a CSR got back to me very quickly and 'escalated' my appeal; does anyone have experience with how long escalated appeals take to be answered? I can't decide if I should roll an alt or work on dungeons on this guy.

I unfortunately forgot to check anything like that before leaving for work, but you can see on realmwar that my base stats are the same as a rank 40 Swordmaster, so...

When I leveled it did tell me I gained stats + a mastery point as normal, but again I forgot to check if I actually got a mastery point -_-

Nope! Throughout my time as 40 I was still gaining XP as normal, though, which I thought was odd (now I know why); it would show up as something like 2344/0 XP though the XP would show as empty and the tooltip said I had maximum xp (or whatever phrase it normally uses for 40s, I forget). Now it stays at 0/0 XP like normal, though.
