In typical fashion the newsletter has not arrived and will probably not be here till Monday or Tuesday. For some reason my copy sits on their mail server for 4 days as per the header info.

I'm a tad disapointed. I was under the impression there was going to be more info, maybe another class anounced. not sure where I got that notion, but I could have sworn it was in one of those "Next month!" messages. oh well. *shrug* Witch elf info is cool and so are the vids.

So another month has come and gone. time to hunker down again till next newsletter.

I don't have mine yet - but I have been at least two days late on the past 2 newsletters.

While the newsletter is cool I can't help but be disappointed.
Even the podcast didn't give any new information, mostly clarification or it expanded a little on known topics. For example I knew how tactics worked but I never knew you can see all the moral abilities and tactics right from the start. I hoped it gave some more explanation on the flow of combat, reactive abilities, combos (I mean timing global cooldowns and chaining skills with synergy for maximum effect) etc.
Although I'm a tad worried about the fact that I won't be able to purchase every moral ability and tactic. While I agree that it adds character diversity it will also lead to people make regrettable or stupid decisions. What works good on paper doesn't have to work in practice.
What I mean is its gonna be at least a few months before people figure out all the good strategies and which morale skills/tactics have the best effects, etc. and I don't want to regret my newbie decisions a year down the road. I really hope they give you some sort of buy/sell option but with a limit on points... so you can only have a max number of tactics at a time but you can give some up for new ones.

Although the 720p video was awesome. The game looks even better when its not being displayed through someones 3 mega pixel camera in a dark room.

I thought they were referring to the ability to change your tactics around, but not actually change the ones you purchased.

The question still is though whether or not you can get your points refunded and then respend them to repurchase different tactics? Or are you stuck with the choices you've made?

We know you can change the tactics you've employed taking new other ones from the pool you've purchased. But can you change around the content of the pool?

Its mindboggling how they can time and time again fail to adress that question given that they've effectively tried to answer it three+ times .

The tactic system looks awsome. Witch elf faces look fugly in the concept art, hopefully some helmets to cover that up
