Warhammer's Official Forums are Now Online!

In junction with today's opening of Patch 1.2's Public Test Server, Mythic has also opened its new Official Forums. These Lithium based forums are currently in Beta, so they're only open to discuss Patch 1.2 and general in game topics. To find out more about Lithium, feel free to check out its Wiki page.

To log onto the forums, you need to be an active subscriber to Warhammer Online. Put in your account user name and password. You will then be prompted to choose a forum name and put in your email (to receive notifications). Once that's done, you'll be able to check out the new forums!

I added a couple of screenies for those of you who can't get on.

Well I can't log in.
And yes, I read the "instructions".
I put in my username and pass in which I have to put
on the patcher to launch the game.

I'm receiving a "Invalid Username/Password".

EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw the "active subscriber" to Warhammer Online.
That of which I'm not currently. Ran out 2 days ago.

It'll be interesting to see how the official forums work out. I'm about to make a post on there in regards to the 1.2 test.

I personally wish nothing but the best to the team overseeing those forums. They're gonna need it. ^_- Follow me on Twitter for sekrit moderator weapons and advice!

I hope that communication and discussion overall is going to improve between Mythic and its playerbase due to the presence of official forums, though I do hope GOA and Mythic can work together to provide this to the entire current playerbase.

I got a good laugh out of that tweet you made earlier.

Can someone post a few screenshots of the forums or list the features, EU players can't even look at them.

We are doing it as we speak, look for a re-edit on the OP.

Hmmm getting the same problem as this but I am an active subscriber...

Even logged in to Account Management just to make sure Username/Password was correct.

Edit- Nvm Mythic(Account Management) Username/Password is different from Warhammer Username/Password...Need to put in Warhammer Username/Password for it to work

Well as a EU player I feel left out even more. Not only we won't be able to post there, thus losing the chance to communicate directly with devs, but we won't be even able to browse them. This is not what we were promised by Mark Jacobs before WAR's launch.

I'm guessing GOA will have their forums up and running shortly, and while that's a good thing (chance to communicate with the company directly responsible for WAR in Europe), I have no doubts that Mythic staff won't grace EU forums with their presence very often, if at all.

I had no problems logging on and registering for the forums.

For those having problems check caps lock and double check you spelled your account name // password right. And also that you are currently an active subscriber

I added some screenshots for you guys, mind you they're "Print Screens" so I cropped them some to take out my personal tabs etc.

Honestly I don't understand why EU users have to be filtered through GOA "If" they can speak english. GOA dosn't make changes to the game or add patch content thats all done by Mythic.

If pasing off the EU community to a third party is so cost effective and not a palm off of responsibility why then did Mythic not find a third party to host the US servers and forums?

I can understand that GOA might have special translators for the individual EU Community servers that don't speak english but why when I'm playing a Mythic game I have to give my feedback to a GOA rep who can then choose If its worthy to send to a Mythic rep just irritates the hell out of me.

As for it being to keep the noise ratio down last time I checked WAR wasn't suffering from overpopulation in europe for it to be an issue. The claim is always only a small percentage of players actually read and post on forums anyway right?

Is it still in Beta, I hope then mythic eventually bring it to europe as well, sometimes it feels like those from the home of warhammer get treated like second class citizens.
