This last week has had a lot of information forthcoming, from the Grab Bag questions on the upcoming Bitter Rivals Event, to the PTS updates, forums, and coming to the EU. Here's your weekly roundup on what made the ticker.
- 2/16 The WAH, 2/16/09 - The Class Balance Love/Hate Relationship PhoenixRed went over the latest issues the community has with class balance as it pertains to the current test on the PTS, 1.2.
- 2/17 Patch 1.2: Bitter Rivals - PTS is OPEN! Well, it was open excluding the Choppa and the Slayer but with all the other 1.2 updates. Along with this update, the Official Forums go live. at the Warhammer Online official site. An active account is required to view during testing but will be opening up to public view after 1.2 goes live. Posting will still require an active account however.
- 2/18 Open RvR test scheduled on the 1.2 patch for today moved to 2/19 , focusing on ORvR in Tier 4.
- 2/18 EU Herald announces the EU Public Test Server opens for the European GOA player base, contrary to some EU players who didn't think it was going to happen.
- 2/19 PTS Update - CHOP!? SLAY?! PLAY!! Along with the ORvR testing in Tier 4 for the PTS the Choppa and Slayer classes become playable for the first timre.
- 2/19 Free Character Transfers - 2/19/2009 , the latest round, works on moving four additional low population servers to seven specific medium population servers.
- 2/19 Introducing: The WAR Community Promotion Initiative Phoenix Red explains the new WAR Community Promotion Initiaitive, givning incentive to those WHA community with their own blogs and fansites. For more information on the WCPI, click the link above.
- 2/19 WA Wants You... Ariwyn highlights details on a WHA initiatve to get you, the community, to write stories for the new classes in which you can obtain special titles and more.
- 2/19 All Hail the Generals PhoenixRed gives more details on the new WHA initiative on Spotlights, etc.
- 2/20 Grab Bag No. 11 - Bitter Rivals Q&A on the upcoming event Bitter Rivals.
- 2/20 Choppin n' Slayin? - Come get sum Shinies! The heads that were available at ComicCon NY are now able to be obtained through a lottery type system; and all you have to do is test the new classes on the PTS.
