[EU] Cross-Rule transfers

In order to improve the overall game experience and because we are aware that due to the choices given in previous character transfer phases some of your characters are still stuck on some of the previous origin servers we will offer a new phase of character transfer tomorrow afternoon.

These are the options available:

Characters on the oRvR RP servers Alarielle and Ellyrion may transfer to

Burlok (RP)
Eltharion (oRvR)
Karak-Norn (Core)
Karak-Azgal (Core)
Karak Eight Peaks (Core)


Characters on the oRvR servers Dragonback Mountains, Clar Karond, Finuval Plain, Mount Silverspear, Sea of Dreams, Tiranoc, Tor Anroc and Yvresse may transfer to

Eltharion (oRvR)
Karak-Norn (Core)
Karak-Azgal (Core)
Karak Eight Peaks (Core)


Characters on the RP server Makaisson may transfer to

Burlok (RP)
Karak-Norn (Core)
Karak-Azgal (Core)
Karak Eight Peaks (Core)


Characters on the Core servers Axe Bite Pass, Karak-Hirn, Karag Dron, Karag Orrud, Karak Ungor, Karak-Izor, Karak-Vlag, Karaz-a-Karak, Worlds Edge Mountains and Zhufbar may transfer to

Charaktere auf Bolgasgrad, Helmgart, Hergig, Nuln, Talabheim, Wissenburg, Middenberge und Oststeppe (Standardregelwerk) können zu folgenden Server transferiert werden:

Charaktere auf Kemmler (Rollenspiel) können zu folgenden Server transferiert werden:
Carroburg

Charaktere auf Middenland, Moot, Solland, Stirland und Wissenland (Offenes RvR) können zu folgenden Servern transferiert werden:
Averland (RvR)
Carroburg (normal)
Drakenwald (normal)
Erengrad (normal)

Charaktere auf Egrimm und Galrauch (Offenes RvR Rollenspiel) können zu folgenden Servern transferiert werden:
Averland (RvR)
Huss (Rollenspiel)
Carroburg (normal)
Drakenwald (normal)
Erengrad (normal)


Les joueurs des serveurs "normaux" Couronne, Dechala, Ghrond et Forêt de Laurelorn pourront transférer leurs personnages vers les serveurs Athel Loren et Brionne.

Les joueurs des serveurs "RvR ouvert" Gisoreux, Nehekhara et Tour de Hoeth pourront transférer leurs personnages vers les serveurs Hellebron, Athel Loren et Brionne.

Vórtice (RvR Abierto) – Montañas negras (Normal)
Vórtice (RvR Abierto) – Eltharion (RvR Abierto, lengua inglesa)

Please note that in addition to the previous origin servers getting the ability to transfer to more destination servers we have added two new origin servers to the list: Karak-Hirn and Dragonback Mountains. Although these servers have developed great communities, the population risk dropping to a level where we feel that they can no longer fully enjoy all aspects of what WAR has to offer. We suggest you take your time deciding on your new server, and whatever servers will receive these two great communities can consider themselves very lucky!

How does this work?
If you wish to take advantage of this service then you will need to log into your profile on the website. You will see an option for character transfer in your account management page. Click on this and you will get a list of all eligible characters and their server. Click the correct character and your choice of destination server and your character will be moved immediately. Your character will be in his or her new home within a few minutes. If you are already logged into the game with that character then you will need to log out for the change to take effect. If your character's name is already taken on the new server, you will be prompted to enter a new name during the transfer process. When your character has successfully arrived on its destination server you will receive an email to confirm the transfer.

Guilds
If you wish to transfer your guild as well then the process is a little more involved. The guild leader is the person who is responsible for making the move. Before you start, you should ensure that your guild vault is empty and that any cash in the guild bank has been withdrawn. The character who is the guild leader should use the command /transferguild ingame before making his own character transfer via the website. You will get a popup to confirm the command. Once you have confirmed the command, your guild will be disbanded, all members will be booted and the guild will cease to exist on your original server.

Once the guild leader has arrived on the destination server then he must start a new guild in the normal way with a full group of players (note: the original guild leader must be the leader of this group). When the new guild is formed it will have the same rank and Renown as the original guild on the old server and all the unlocks that have been earned to that point. You will also be able to choose your heraldry and your guildname again.

Please make sure that before you transfer either a character or a guild that you are positive you mean to do this, mistakes cannot be undone by our CS department after the fact so talk to your friends and your guild mates, check that you are all moving and double check to which server for those that have a choice.

As someone who has previously wished and asked for exactly that, let me say...thank you, GOA. By now, most players in my guild do not care about server types anymore if by giving up their type, they can get some RvR action going.

I can't for the life of me figure out:

1) One day after patch, you inform us that transfers will begin TOMORROW.

2) You open up transfers FROM Hirn TO Norn?

Now that you have opened Pandoras Box, it's not like we can choose NOT to transfer.

PS. It's pretty annoying when your nickname will be blocked by some lvl 6 unused Alt, especially if you have had it for, well, a very long time, in this game and all other previous games. Blergh =( DS.

1) Like it isn't hard enough for people to make a decision where to transfer, GOA decides to do it on such a short notice and make it even harder.

2) Killing a mostly fine server with healthy population and balance as well as a great community that holds together (Hirn) and allowing them to transfer to a half-dead server (Norn). Yes, good move.

Corporations understand only one thing at the end of the day.

They have not figured out that Hirn has a more active and dedicated population than Norn. (Go look at guilds and character on the two servers for plenty of examples of how much more.)

I'll let them figure out what "canceled on the day that server transfers were announced" means all on their own. (They'll likely misinterpret and think my two buffed character classes were rubbish in 1.2.)

I will or will not continue to play depending on how things work out in the end.

There's a lot of fish in the sea, after all.
