WAR Community Poll - What's the Best Part of Bitter Rivals?

In a collaboration inspired by the WAR Community Promotion Initiative, WAR Vault and Warhammer Alliance have united in an effort to present a larger scope and sample for a Community poll every week on Fridays. As two of the major community fan forum sites, we feel that presenting the same polls will yield a greater level of interest and curiosity regarding hot button issues from our community.

This week's poll talks about Bitter Rivals, the new Live Event that has hit the WAR scene this week. What's the best part of Bitter Rivals, or if you didn't like it, what could be done to improve Live Events in general? That's the question we're asking this week, and we look forward to your productive discussion.

The VN poll is here:
http://warhammervault.ign.com/

Please note - this poll is strictly about the live event and not about 1.2 and its associated patch notes and fixes, as we've polled about that before.

Thanks to beibhinn, sneaksz, Vlad, and the rest at WAR Vault for collaborating in what will be the first of perhaps many such weeks of working together.

I'm digging the Tower scenario. It's pretty fun, you can't camp the enemy (or be camped), and can still punt people over the edge.

I voted None. Scenario seemed a bit lackluster, it is nice looking and all... and a nice addition to tier four, but it's just a confusing close-quarter vertical Khaine's Embrace. Daily tasks only lasted three days, too easy. And rewards, I was hoping to see a Trophy item. Titles weren't anything special... and the Siege Weapon with 5 uses... Slayer/Choppa head start aren't going to last me more then a week. Enjoying the event, nonetheless.

Other. Anticipation for the slayer and chappa I'd say.

The new scenario was great on first impression but I don't find it stands up to repeat playing. I'd prefer the standards from any of the tiers.

I've never been a giant fan of pursuing the new gear/unlocks either. If I luck into them, great.

I votes "other" so here's my "indicate" : The best part about Bitter Rivals, so far, for me, has been reading about it here on WA while my server is down day after day and hearing about it from guildies in vent while waiting for the scenario to pop futilely because the zone it's in (Chaos Wastes) is locked and the damn thing won't pop because of it. So far, having tried to play every day since it started, I have been able, whether through timing or just poor luck, to do absolutely none of it.

Rewards and unlocks - Unlocking early access to my new main is the best reward I've had in WAR so far.

I voted Unlocks and Rewards - although the scenario is neat, its also kinda odd, and takes more getting used to than most (this isn't *bad* - but it means that players just getting into the game get baffled quickly - ie: my friends who just started)

I love the titles however, especially Oathrender and Doomseeker; the PQ's are a fair bit of fun, even if they are a bit simplistic; and the rewards aren't bad.

Haven't tried out my axe hewer just yet, but I'm eager to give it a shot!

I also love the NPC dwarfs and greenies running around in RVRland, they make the area feel just a bit more alive.

Voted none.

It just seems to be a delay till people can start playing the Choppa and Slayer. The new scenario is OK, but nothing to be excited about. The rewards and unlocks for the event just seem to be more of the same-ole-same-ole.

I believe that using vertical scenarios could be implemented to be fun - I just don't think twisted Tower is good enough. It misses its goal.

Other : my stack of 15 Chaos Black dye.

I do like the titles and acquiring them, though this is the first event I have 100% completed and I did find the grand prize title a little lacking in punch - "Seriously Bitter!" is not really on par with "Master Assassin".

While I was pleased with most everything, I really don't like Twisting Tower ; it is just a joyless killing ground as a healer (no line of sight on allies and barely any warning when melee foes pop up), in addition to freezing my client 4 times out of 5.
If it ever enters normal circulation, I think I'll be retiring the "join all" button.

None. Nerfed one class way too much. Didn't make any significant BG changes. Made RDPS way too powerful again.

I'm sorry but nothing else matters with server imbalanced. Every class on the opposing side feels overpowered so another alt thrown into the mess does nothing to alleviate my feeling of hopeless battle.

My sub is up and I am having trouble trying to restart it. Nothing wrong with accounts but my will is lacking.

The new scenario is WAY to laggy. It's to "cramped". Being a healer, i just hate Twisting Tower, no good view of allies and with lagg its even harder. Too many on at same time for me to spend time using CTRL+TAB, clicking them is a nono because they are all stuck into each other.

Only doing twisting tower for the event, will not join it if it stays after event.

The best thing about the event is the ability to unlock SLAYER!(and choppa, but im tired of destro)

I just want to be a bear and go winter-sleep until wednesday I hate the waiting for the end of the event.

I'm not going to lie... my favorite part is easily just completing all of the quests. I really like quest-chains with cool rewards at the end! They make the game much more interesting and rewarding. I also like that none of the challenges are particularly hard, although I think I would enjoy it if there were more of them like there were for the Heavy Metal event.
