Eh, it's a shiatty situation all around.. Order has a bit of an edge on both servers, and smashing the two pops together would just make things worse. On the other hand, letting a server completely die off and losing the subs isn't great either.

I think it was Xale talking about a proper betrayal system being in place - allowing someone to transfer their character and realm. I think among the RP servers we'd actually see folks trying to even things out a bit. Not sure how it'd play out in places like DC - I'd expect more FOTM hopping to go on there.

Despite combining more Order together, the bigger problem is the numerous players that have Order characters on one server and Destruction on the other. What do you do then?

It is kind of ironic though that there's quite a few people on PT that wish it were more like the "early days" when there were less people with more small scale skirmishing and then there's an entire server that wishes they had more people. Hrmm...

Limited time paid transfers please. I'd pay for a few people to go to Ostermark.

That's a good point too.. I could stand to lose my Ostermark alts since I've barely touched them, though I'm sure others have invested a lot more time in both.

They won't merge now that it's down to two RP servers. One for people to play each faction.

I fail to see the "inter server drama" part, unless you wanna count the one post of "We send our garbage to PT." which made me laugh quite a bit.

I only play on PT, so a merger wouldn't affect me, but I can understand people not wanting to lose alts.

I was expecting some actual drama, thanks for getting my hopes up! I've seen much worse on these forums, Ostermark forums have better to offer than that weak little 3 pager also. I've stopped playing over there mostly and started playing my destro toons here recently. I'm not really interested in my marauder anymore, and my alts in T2 and T3 on Ostermark are forced to solo grind their way into T4 if I want to do any sort of RvR. No thanks, just going to relevel here the correct way. Scenarios and oRvR in T2 here has been 100 times better than any I have seen on Ostermark in months.

As far as the transfers go, they'll eventually have to do something. A good chunk of people are just sick of seeing "low/low" 24/7 and have abandoned toons over there. I can see people not wanting to lose their alts over there, but I assure you that you are not missing much with those alts anything but T4 on that server is pretty much permanently dead. New players interested in the roleplaying environment, IMO, would see low/low or med/med and choose PT simply for the population. Ostermark stopped getting new players a long time ago it seems.

Few reasons it sucks:

1. My WP is on Ostermark. About to hit 31.

2. Order pop on Ostermark is greater than here in comparision to Destro.

3. Lot of IDIOTS on Ostermark that get butthurt easy.

Vaxx is playing a DoK. Of course he is playing it like Indo... dual wield melee If it isn't Plink, it is Consume Essence?!

I'd be happy if those Order Ostermark people were around now. My Choppa is 31/24 and scenarios stopped popping. I was hoping to hit 32/25 :/

Yeah, and I'm not sure why this is but the lower brackets are virtually empty. PT got the Avelorn refugees (hai guyz!), but in the latest round of server consolidations the only available option was to go to Ostermark.

But limited time transfers - even if paid - between the two servers would be a good thing. Those that want to participate in larger scale RvR can head to PT and those that prefer the smaller scale skirmishing without any "zergs" can head to Ostermark. Win/Win.

I think clusters for scenarios would be great. Would increase leveling opportunities for many lower level players throughout, as well as add more competition for premade groups at 40.

They would need to change scenarios though. It should be:

1-9
10-19
20-29
30-39
40

Open RvR should not be clustered. Part of the fun of playing is seeing enemies you recognize and fight many times over. Don't need to fight a bunch of randoms always.

Last I heard, Mythic didn't have any plans for "Battlegroups" that would allow scenario pops across realms.

There have been nights where Scenarios just aren't popping and I'd have killed for other servers' populations to be in the queue. But then I log on to another server and can only deal with "l33t speak" and infantile names for only so long.
