That all sounds really fun. I look forward to it. If Mythic would fix cities first before messing with additional content that would be fantastic. I am not being sarcastic. Our guild is looking forward to the new content. But, the theme is typical amongst most the folks I play with. Cities are horrible (no reason to push to them as its considered an enormous waste of time), getting stuck on pebbles on the ground, and no real point in generating a laundry list of nuances.
This stuff needs to go back on the shelf and full focus needs to be devoted to addressing the reasons why people are losing interest, hanging on by a thread, or have quit altogether. This content will be a nice change of pace from these things but it will only be a temporary distraction before people are once again irritated/frustrated by the whole end game ORvR system.

Well this isn't a tweet but I'll post my review here (already back):
1. The new PQs are fun and the area does lend itself to a lot of ambushes. Tomb Kings will be of benifit to RvR and PvE players. 2. I was amazed how well the game runs when the server is under the table...It really looks and plays phenomenaly. 3. All of the Mythic's staff looked tired and pasty white except for Andy. I especially found it amusing that Paul Barnett was carying around a pair of those white sunglasses when it's obvious he hasn't seen sunlight in weeks. You can tell they truly care about the players from just talking to them. Renewed my hope in the game's future. 4. It takes talent to make a cake look like a squig...Seriously the cake was incredible! 5. No one bathes before, wears laundered clothes or wears deoderant to these events. 6. If you have to wear shorts when dressed up as Silk Spectre mebe you shouldn't dress up as Silk Spectre. It was a good time and I'd reccomend it to anyone. I'd also recomend pre ordering any miniatures you would like on the GW site before you go. Lines are ungodly. |
