Transcripts?

Are we ever going to get transcripts of these interviews - I'd like to know whats in them, but they are just impossible for me to listen to with all the background chatter.

I know it's very early 2000's of me - but in general I prefer transcriptions to video or audio interviews. I'd much rather read an interview in 2 minutes and skim by the boring parts than have to sit and listen/watch for 10.

I know Frank has been wicked busy with concentrating on video editing and organizing content that he has. With everything he has been doing, I don't think there would be any transcripts written any time soon. Then again, I could be wrong, but it's just an observation.

I may consider it for more of the louder interviews (like the Mark Davis one) but as Helvetica said, It's not likely to happen any time soon. Transcripts are extremely time-consuming and I have spent an already significant portion of time uploading everything and writing the main articles. I tuned the sound a little bit for slightly better quality, but that's the best I can do.

Unless someone wants to volunteer to do it, I really can't commit to creating transcripts for 7 interviews at 10-15 minutes each. Apologies for that, and the fact that my directional mic seemed to not work out, which is why I had to go without it.

Frank-

Thanks for all the hard work you put in! I know you gave up a lot of your time, and took some time off at work, just to get us all this content. There is so much here to take in, I still haven't gotten to all of it. I appreciate it, and I know the entire community does too. You deserved to be wined and dined by Mythic. I'm just sorry you came back with ConFlu, a nastier strain of H1N1.

Killer work!

Joe

ditto this. WHA coverage completely destroyed any other coverage of the event I've seen.

I'm not sure if people thought about what a pain it would be to write transcripts for those interviews.
