Land of the Dead looks awesome. Can't wait to see it for myself.

From what I remember the LotD gameplay videos uploaded here showed a considerable increase in graphical quality (shadows specifically for me, as well as texture resolutions), but those screenshots aren't showing the same LOD.

Did anyone get to find out if that increase in quality (which was, for me, much appreciated) was coming to the actual client? Or was it a lets-show-the-game-in-a-way-the-live-players-won't-get-to-see?

Not entirely sure about that, but I do know that the quality of the images is different from taking it ingame versus taking it in a video player. Might just be the lack of state-of-the-artness of my video capturing software, but regardless, it's something as opposed to nothing. Technical specs for the graphics quality game is far over my head

No worries, I understand your point. I guess I'm just hoping to have my game look as good as it did on the gameplay vids Red posted. Looked really nice. Particularly the armour textures looked so much better than on live.

I am openly optimistic about this expansion. I really hope it delivers the fun and excitement some of us had with Darkness Falls in DAoC.
