WAR Community Promotion Initiative #21 - Mythic/Bioware Reaction

The WCPI, and members of other blogs and news sites on the Internet have been reacting to the Mythic/Bioware news all week. Here's just a few links:

Werit of Werit's Blog doesn't think that the merger is the end of the world at all, like some people are thinking, and has a reassuring post to illustrate that.

Bootae of Bootae's Bloody Blog has good news about the new Mythic-Bioware group to share with you all.

Tulane of Incoming Pull talks about the "truth behind WAR's recent developments" - and it might not be what you think. Check out the post for more details!

Snaffy and Snaffy's Space takes a look at the new group "shakeup" and specificially has some comments about the departure of Mark Jacobs.

Here's some other sites that have been reacting to the news - subscribe to all of them, as they're good reads in general:

Moon Over Endor shows that SW:TOR fans are also watching the news of the Mythic/Bioware group very carefully in anticipation of the new Star Wars MMO.

Nerf the Cat has a short piece regarding the move, which answers questions about where Mark has been.

Broken Toys has Scott "Lum" Jennings, formerly of Mythic, reflecting on the change and in particular, his days at Mythic with Mark at the helm of the Mythic family.

Keen and Graev has mixed feelings about the whole Mythic-Bioware affair.

The Examiner has former Mythic employee Sanya Weathers explaining exactly what happened with EA, Mythic, and Bioware (not a merger).

Overly Positive's perpetually sunny outlook has Mythic and Bioware akin to the standby childhood lunch favorite - peanut butter and jelly.

About the WAR Community Promotion Initiative

The WAR Community Promotion Initiative, or WCPI for short, is a player-wide effort for WAR fansites, blogs, forums, and other WAR community efforts to cross-promote and expose content to everyone who visits them. Members of the WCPI regularly promote each other through links, spotlights, and other features. If you have a WAR site and you'd like to join, check out the WCPI thread or PM PhoenixRed on the Warhammer Alliance forums.
