Armor Graphic Auto-Toggle.. (request)

In game it is possible to turn certain effects (guild emblem) or pieces (helm, cap..) off.

I was wondering if any aspiring modder or such would be interested in making a nifty little mod that would allow you to set certain things to be off when not in combat, but on when in combat...

Example...

Chosen walking around with helm graphic off, but then jumps into a fight (pvp flag, combat flag.. whatever) and his hem graphic turns on. After fight, or PvP status turns off, helm goes off again.

I know it's silly, but thought it would be darn cool.

If I was smart enough to learn how to code for the UI in this game I'd do it myself...

Yes, it is possible.

I just confirmed it by engaging and then removing both helm and cape graphics.

The ultimate version of this mod (to me) would allow you to set

1)Helm on or off

2)Cape on or off

3)Guild Emblem on or off

With two saved settings, one for combat, one for out of combat.

Like I said, I am not smart enough to do this but think it would be killer if someone did

I did try to write a small mod that should show/hide helm, cloak and heraldry as you have requested: http://war.curseforge.com/projects/a...raphic-toggle/
But keep in mind that this is my first mod, so do not expect that it is 100% error free.
I will appreciate all coments and suggestions how to improve my code.

Ok, only small "bug' that I found was right after my first start up it had helm not shown when not in combat, but helm was showing in game. Looked on paper doll and it was unchecked, so should have been off. I clicked it on, then off.. and things worked JUST fine. Like I said, minor, possible not even repeatable bug.

Kudos man! Well done for your first mod... feel free to PM me if you ever need me to beta another mod for you.. IE, be a lab rat.. comp crashes here I come!
