March 26 speculation?

I went to gamestop today and preordered my collector's addition, plus got my open beta key and such. Well, obviously the site for it isn't up yet, but with Gamespy saying that march 26 will be the official announcement and these codes being distributed a week early, anyone else think its plausible that beta might be dropping its nda early as April? Seems kind of silly to me to distribute these things then save them for May.

if you go into everything a gamestop says, then you'd be sitting outside their building on june tenth.

It's possible. If they release a ton of info in the next newsletter/podcast then we can probably assume we're closer to release but if we don't hear about last HE class, lairs, and crafting, we can probably assume it's still slated for June or later. Although assumptions are never a good thing.

Originally I thought they were going to compete to release at the same time as Conan. Hopefully they announce soon or I'll have to sit down at interaction and use the stores account to play Conan to waste time until WAR is announced.

am I to understand that gamestop has codes already? I doubt that my podunk gamestop will but I will definitely check.

Lucky...my Gamestop had no idea what I was talking about. April might be possible, since it's probably when those comic codes are going to be entered as well.

very few gamestops have them right now. i would think most of them will have them availiable around 03/26

Will have to check then. Called all of them in my area and all they knew was that I could preorder a regular copy.

My Gamestop dose not know anything about the CE preorders.

There are at least 2 other threads that discuss some of what will be in the CE. However, the information on preordering the CE has not been officially revealed.

Where abouts do you live Hisdon? Just curious to see which areas have it already or something like that. As far as the questions go about when you can pre-order it if you can't already, we're hoping it'll be talked about in the next newsletter at the latest, but hopefully we'll get an announcement on the 26th as was stated earlier.
