10 Annoying Order Traits

I see lots of people moaning in region chat and forums about the state of the game “blob/zerg” “Destro locking zones fast” I also see Order getting their butts kicked most nights by the Blob. The fact is Order are outnumbered most nights heavily. So how do we counter this?

1. Order Don’t Coop well
Solution: Join organised guilds you get more from higher ranked guilds. Better RvR more dungeons runs a better social side to the game and also nice stuff like mounts/scrolls/crafting gear. Simple fact is if your guild can’t even field a party ever there is something really wrong. There are guilds out there that care about RvR and are coop with each other.

2. Our WB leader is crap
Solution: start another WB find out who are running WB In zone coop and you will find there are people willing to work with you. Don’t undermine the WB leader in chat unless they clearly are an idiot

3. I can’t get in decent WB or all WB are closed
Solution: Read Point 1 there are decent WB offering a better RvR experience

4. I like my small guild
Get organised join a alliance work with bigger more organised guilds but don’t cry in region if WB leaders don’t share plans with “random’s” many are worried about X realmers and also don’t have time to tell each “random” player what to do….Get in organised WB and follow your leader

5. Destro have way more ppl what’s the point in RvR.
Solution : I don’t think Destro have 2-3X the ppl on the server just 2-3X more in RvR most times and why not its easy renown for them, Order help by handing them the server. I think this is a case of many Order don’t want to fight in RvR because they have their butts kicked and would rather PVE (LV/LOTD etc) this week live event over RvR and with attitudes like this no wonder RvR is hard for Order. But this is lame get out of the dungeon and get on the battlefield and turn the tables.

6. Order keep getting farmed in SC’s
Solution: Ok it’s not fact Order get farmed in fact I have seen a fair share of Destro get spanked in SC’s. However it is clear Destro with greater numbers have premade groups doing SC’s. Premade = greater wins and faster locks. So stop being random if your guild can not get a premade going start one ask in region for the ppl you need DON’T just random join. This is probably costs Order more zone locks than anything else. Its easy to help the cause be organised and win more. If you want to go “solo” don’t do it in a zone Order are trying to lock.

7. Destro still lock zones fast.
Solution: Be prepared to do PQ (even if you have done these they count) get your lower tier ppl to push a particular zone

8. We keep getting wiped
Solution: Back to basics…Communication, Party setups, buffs, following orders and working in a team, killing healer’s, main assist, sticking with your team. So many basics points are lost by both sides.

9. Lemmings…..
Solution: You don’t have to run out the front of the WC use the PVE exit fly to another zone mix it up stop feeding skirmish points.

10. Moan/Rage Quit
Solution: Read above points. Nothing demoralises a side more than getting wiped repeatedly. This is what has happened to Order. Many would rather simply avoid RvR rather than fight Destro, and Destro can be beaten it just needs some organization and changing the way you play.

A good point and through certain members of my Guild, there is an effort to restructure our current Alliance to make it more effective in todays game. However, this is hard because, even in well established Alliances, members of Guilds are still loyal, ultimately to their Guilds. Though people are still not giving up on this.

Additionally, they (Guilds in Alliances) have their own agendas. So for example, we ask for assistance in taking a BO, and most dont respond because they are doing what they want to do (usually in PVE or in lower tiers). So big organised Alliances are not necessarily the answer, more PVP focused ones are.....and at the moment I don't know which ones they are!! Maybe we should update the server information thread.

As for X realmers, I didn't realise we had any now that Titans have left for "you know what game".

We lived a similar situation in Gorthor long ago. Solutions were similar to yours but unfortunately most of the people always think "someone will start it and I will join them". The START for them is the beginning of the order wiping the destros.....which is difficult atm.

There are several capital runs with similar numbers where order warbands get constantly wiped mainly to bad teamwork and lack of communication.

I'd suggest to get some strong teams together and starting fighting back. Even losing looks different when you never give up. We constantly lost for more than a month before we could get some result from our faction that was crying out that we were too superb (you know...getting wiped looks so superb) because we selfclaimed ourselves as hardball guild that wanted to be in RVR regardless the victory or the loss.

Please, really PLEASE egt some tough guys and get in RVR. Respect for beeing in the fight will bring other people.

We have about 6 big guilds for RvR and about 60 small ones. It would be nice for some of the smaller ones to merge or boost ranks of the bigger guilds. I undestand what you say about RvR vs PvE guilds. We are RvR however we have organised parties for dungeon runs. One problem is because ORder cant field the right amount of people many leave RvR for LV or LOTD. With any hope we can get more people out of dungeons into RvR

As for there own agendas I dont know about other guilds but we are interested in beating Destro and will CoOp with anyone who is willing to CoOp

DisOrder have a second guild DisArray which is only for lower tiers t1-t3 and its pretty active.

I also undestand some people are loyal to there guilds and i thats great but if they are small get in alliance with a bigger guild who will absob you into there WB and they will even help with dungeon runs etc

Think merges are a very good point. Shadowlords recently swallowed(whole, we have large mouths ) Regiment of the Renowned and OCD from our alliance.
This has left two open alliance spaces, given the two guilds (who weren't particularly large) an active guild to log into, plus in the case of RoR higher lvl guild so scrolls etc, and has boosted our numbers slightly too.
As they were alliance guilds we already knew and played with the people and it's gone really well, so any smaller guilds out there that want what guilds like DisORder, shadowlords, RK , skowyt etc etc can offer you then swallow your pride, lose your 'wonderfully originally named ' guild of ten at lvl 4 and ask someone for a merge.

Anyone who has ever played in a premade will know 1fg can wipe a PUG warband, the same is true about guilds.

Your on about merging smaller guilds into bigger ones, well most of these smaller guilds have been formed because the bigger guilds have way to many rules like *must use vent or you be kicked from guild* , *must be online peak times 5 times per week * and other crap like that .

These smaller guilds don't want that kinda so they make their own with more space for them to enjoy the game. In DAOC I could join a guild and maybe not log in for 3 months , when I got back I would still be in it , nowadays you cant't be absent for more than 1-2 weeks in some guilds.

It's not the real life army so lighten up and maybe other smaller guilds will join.

tbh, its ppl like this ing up a server.. If everyone would think like this every server would have a big renown train just zerging the campaign.
