Amazon CE Codes for Beta

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Collector's Edition Beta Access:After I entered this code into the beta center all its says under is...
Current Associations:
  • None
  • Amazon Collector's Editions Early access.
^^What does this mean?^^

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Collector's Edition Live Game Head Start:
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Collector's Edition In-Game Items:

When I enter these codes they are informing me that they are "Invalid"

So I am asking all the start peple if they can throw a little info my way...

Thanks

I'll look into if the text is displaying properly for the association.

However:

After entering your beta code the association should be only for Open Beta access at this time.

Currently we ask all Pre-Orders to hold onto the Head Start and In-Game item codes until a later date as we do not have our final account system in place.

So if you've entered your Open Beta code and have an association most likely everything is correct, simply the text displayed for the association may be incorrect (which I'll look into and we'll get it fixed up)

Hope that answers your question, thanks!

Valdercon,

Watch Amazon like a hawk on this one. I'm serious. They were Age of Conan's biggest problem when it came to their Early Access shenanigans.

The first whiff of Open Beta Access you hear about from EA Mythic, make sure you're on Amazon like white on rice. If you aren't, Amazon will sleep right though it.

Subscribing to this thread because I have the same problem as the OP. I'll be looking back for more.

I woulkd say Play.com was AOC's biggest problem. I never did get my Early access codes or the Rhino mount code. Doesn't mater any more as I unsubscribed now, but if anything like that happened to me for WAR I would be gutted.

Amazon Pre Order

I also pre-ordered from Amazon. All I could enter was the Open Beta code. The other two have instructions from Amazon that say to hold off entering those codes until Mythic has you be able to sign up for real accounts, not just beta accounts.

I do have a question concerning any online pre-orders though. How is any vendor going to get the game to us for the head start? Is it going to be a download or are they going to ship the game out early only for pre-orders?

Chances are we will be downloading the clients, since most of us should be in open beta anyway. So, all we will most probably have to do is just "patch" our beta client to the launch version and thats it. We will most probably still need to key in the CD key from the game sometime soon to get the 30 days included playtime and such though.

When getting my codes off Amazon the ends extended beyond the border rendering them unreadable. This may be a problem with their site or a conflict with the type of browser you're using, I'm using Firefox. I was able to get the complete code by copying the code and pasting it into a word document. You could probably also get Amazon to email you the codes. This may or may not be relevant to your own problem, but I hope it helps.
