Well i forget where i read this but im pretty sure there's no silver...its something else, might be tin. And who cares if its just like WoW? It makes sense in the Warhammer world for those to be the currency, and change for the sake of change is not necessarily good, specially if its already good enough.

Bahaha there are already gold selling sites trying to sell gold for WAR. Saw that as I was googling for the currencies of the different factions.
Anyway, I am sure they are using something generic because of the different factions. Orcs use teeth for currency, for example, and I doubt the other factions would accept that.

How should it go? Copper least expensive, brass middle and silver most expensive? I hope brass isnt the highest one, doesnt seem valuable.

Ok lesson in money coming forward. "Money" has only ever been what a society as seen as able represent value. Value until about the 18th century was almost always negotiable and usually there was not a coin to represent the value of small transactions. The idea of the "penny" is not new as we 21st century folks would think of it but its extremely low value is new. Only those cultures with both access to large amounts of gold and a huge economy ever actually used gold coins. Most cultures when they used gold at all, dealt in gold ingots and bars not gold coins when transacting business. Those that dealt with coins used the more abundant silver and copper. Not to mention the fact that coins are themselves only as good as the one who makes them. Historically, Various kings/emperors would adjust the thickness of their coins to make more coins out of the same bullion. To draw this to a close, in WAR Brass can become valuable if its what people accept as valuable. Since Mythic wants it to be valuable it will be valuable. 1 Gold Crown = 20 Silver Shillings = 240 Brass Pennies (1 GC = 20/- = 240d.)
From WFRP. No idea if that will be in WAR since some might find it complicated. |

Sound similar? lol And yes, Gamesworkshop IS a british company, so it kinda makes sense. IN terms of WAR though, I would think they would stick to the pretty much global standard of using a decimal system.
