The War on /Emotes

Ever since Paul Barnett told us there would be no /dance in Warhammer Online, many gamers feared that the emotes in WAR would be as dissapointing as the news itself was. That said I'd like to thank community member Satarko for this little contribution. At the last public showing of the game he was able to put his imagination to work and uncover some of the emotes that you will see in WAR. Read on to see Here's the compiled list so far:

Yeah, there is a dance emote. Last convention I attended, it caused a text message saying "xyz refuses to dance"

What people actually thought there wouldn't be any emotes at all just because they said no dancing emotes. I hate the drama most of the knee jerk reactionists cause.

I hear when you try /dance it say, Your avatar's name "refuses to dance." So yes that could be considered an emote but, he doesn't actually dance.

LOL thats classic an anti emote emote

what they should do is time it like if you type /dance once your character shakes his/her head no ... do it again and he shakes his/her head "no" again do it a third time and he/her turns around and flips you the user off.

that would be classic.

still love the voice emotes from EQ2 ... my favorite was my swashbucklers /heal emote (especially to female healers)

*Ravanos calls for healing* and in game you hear him say "kiss it and make it better"
