Does this make you reconsider playing WAR?

The news of today hit all of pretty hard, and some harder than others.

So, will you reconsider playing WAR, or do you continue with a heavy heart?

To be more clear: Yes means you will be quiting, No means you will still be playing

I'll definitely be playing.

Kind of worried about my guild members though

It doesn't change my mind at all. I'm disappointed yes. I feel embarrassed for Mythic though... alot of eyes are on them today and I doubt people will look at anything happening today in a positive light. I would have preferred another pushback until 2009 to be honest.

Yeah this really didn't effect me that much. Punkbuster was really the only thing. I'll still be playing a Swordmaster.

Alot of Nerd Rage going around for what a majority of people havent played. Each side has flavor now with the unique classes.

the people saying they wont play becuase their class was taken out are just over reacting and will probably end up playing another class at release. the only thing im worried about is the anti cheat software

I'm in the same boat

I am a bit worried what dropping those 4 classes is going to do to realm balance...
I am also a bit worried that the first expansion is now simply going to be the things that were omitted at launch...

I dont know what effect this is going to have on my guild either ....

i will still be playing, although this is definitely a HUGE amount of news that is going to incite a knee jerk reaction from a lot of people ala class nerfs in other games.

If you consider quitting because of not being able to play a class that you know little to nothing about or how it actually plays in game I pity you. And the citys will not be the Empires or Chaos and "Oh you can come here but realise you are only a guest." I think it will make the game feel more like a community because then you will really want to defend your city. We wont hear any, "Thats not my city I dont want to help defend it."

If I had planned to play one of the removed classes and found out that my city wouldn't be in the release I'd be pretty bummed.

Considering the fact I've been waiting to play an Ironbreaker since they were announced kinda helps and the fact that karaz-a-karak won't be in the game at the start doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would... sure I've been looking forward to seeing it in-game but soooooooooo many of us will be wanting it to be worth the wait and for them to make the city as epic as they should be

Youre right, this has hit me very hard.

I have already cancelled my Collectors Edition and given my Pre-Order codes to a friend. I have been following this game for some time and I'm truly devastated about the news we have received today. You may be thinking "get over it Celes, it's a game". yes, it is a game but it's a game that I feel very strongly about.

Two of my favourite classes have been removed, the Choppa and Hammerer which upset me but also the removal of the cities hit me hard - I remember first laying my eyes on the High Elf city (which was unfished) on the Swordmaster gameplay video and was amazed, it looked just how I had pictured it and seemed to be really shaping up nicely.

I just wish Mythic could postpone the game for another year or two just to fix these things. I was really, really looking forward to this game, but now I'll just have to find something else.

c'on stop the drama. Things take time to develop, there is no magic to it. They can either release with things that are crappy, push back the release until all is done (almost impossible in theory), or just cut what doesn't work (for now). They made the right decision, and are open about it.
