What will you pick after the painfull announcement?

Aqueous gave me the idea to start this thread, basically as the title states, what will you roll now that the Choppa, the Hammerer, The Black Guard and the Knight of the Blazing Sun have been cut?

I guess now I'll play an Ironbreaker. It should be an entertaining challenge being in an all Dwarf guild. Though RP wise we've kind of been taken out at the knees here.

I was going to play a BG. KotBS was my backup class so now I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

I for sure won't be getting the pre-order and will await more info on these problems and see if I'll end up buying the game at release.


The capitol city thing seems fine to me, most games don't have all their endgame content in at release. I'm just happy there will be SOMETHING to do at all.

The class announcements are just completely unacceptable to me, sure games release unfinished but this is a new low. Something tells me this could have been prevented. Sorry Mark.. just my personal opinion.

Runepriest will probably be my main, but there's a bunch of classes I'd like to try. Shadow Warrior, White Lion, Bright Wizard, Warrior Priest. Hell, all of them really.

But Runepriest will be my first.

Though the class I am looking at (shaman) wasnt scrapped, I really can't see an orc or goblin bothering to help chaos defend and attack.

I'm looking at the chaos classes now, as after Orcs and Goblins, Chaos has always been my second favourite. Specifially Tzeentch, so it's pretty cool to be able to play as it. Magus is looking interesting at the moment.

Well i was gonna roll a BG, and then a Choppa...but i guess ill try out a Sorceress, if that doesnt work for me i dont know what ima do tho >.< none of the other classes really fill out the brawler gameplay i like (sometimes too unique isnt all that great, not interested in WE or WH...stealt-poisons-potions arent my style, BO gives off too much of a meatshield vibe, and i dont wanna twist-chosen-)

I'd suppose a lot of the melee dps careers that got cut would go towards tanking careers now, but that's just me. I'm still going to be a zealot.

Lol, oddly enough, I was torn between KotBS and BG. If I still play this game (which is about 50/50 at this point) I'm going to make an easy-mode DPS class to max out and farm with until I can start my real career. Sorcerer is probably at the top of this list... maybe Marauder.

I have been pretty excited about the Blackguard since it was first announced, and always voted for them on the polls.

In recent weeks, reading more about the DoK had managed to drag my attention away, given the absolute dearth of BG info (now we know why )

So I'll be joining the ranks of the apparently unpopular-with-the-1337-crowd Torture spec'd DoK's (ur a healzor, must spec path of d4rk rites).
