Guild Guide
UPDATED 22 Sept 2008. Now that we have the release edition.
Covered in this Guide will be 1.The basic how to set up a guild and requirements 2.The guild rewards and advancements 3.Guild Events (suggestions area) 4.Warhammer online guild updates and links 5.Q&A area To form a guild you will need to meet the following requirements.
-First is usual xp gained from quest and killing monsters and killing players (yes you get xp from PvP) -2nd is Influence xp is gained from doing public quest -3rd is renown xp is from PvP and RvR quests The guild has a XP bar. To get xp for the guild do RvR (gaining renown xp) 100% xp gained from this is applied to the guild. To advance to Rank 2 guild you will need 50000 guild xp To advance to Rank 3 guild you will need 150000 guild xp I am sorry I can not tell you how much xp it takes to reach other levels because I do not know. Destruction / Order titles
Form a Guild Rank 1 You have successful formed a guild Guild Calendar Rank 2 You guild gains a Calendar tool which can facilitate guild events and function scheduling. This Calendar can be accessed in the Calendar tab inside the guild interface Tax Rank 3 Your guild gains the ability to tax its members. These can be by the Guild leader and members with permission. (Is set in the rewards section. Only taxs the coin gathered from mobs. Not quest or vender) Tithe Rank 3 ( tithe % is set by every guild member.) Guild Vault Rank 4 Your guild gains access to a Guild Vault a 60 vault slot. This Guild Vault can be accessed via the Guild Vault Merchant, found in each capital city . Warped / Recruit’s Battle Standard Rank 5 Your guild is granted its first Standard! Standards are two handed items wielded by members with the “Standard Bearer” title which grant special party bonuses to the Bearers' party Standards are available for purchase at the Guild store located in your Realm's capital city or at weapon merchant NPCs in warcamps. For more on standards please see the in game help menu. 2 Standard Bearer Titles Rank 5 Your guild may assign 2 of its members to “Standard Bearer”. Members with permission may R-Click on a member(who isn't already the guild leader or a Standard Bearer) in the roster Tab and select “Assign Standard Bearer”,or use Promote/Demote until the desired Title is Assigned Only the Guild Leader or a Standard Bearer are allowed to use Standards and claim Keeps. Tactic Slot 1 Rank 5 Your guild unlocks a tactic slot for its Standard! When slotted onto the Standard, theses tactics grant it an additional bonus. Your Guild leader or members with permission can purchase Standard tactics with Standard tactic points from the tactic list inside the Reward Tab. Tactic Point Rank 5 Your Guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Entry To the Destruction=Viper's Pit / Order=Sigmar’s Hammer Rank 6 Your guild gains access to a communal guild tavern. This is a place for all guilds of the appropriate rank to gather and meet to discuss strategy, form Alliance, and receive access to special merchants Standard Post 1 Rank 5 your Guild receives a new post for its Standard! When applied to the Standard, this post grants the Standard with different visual appearance. Guild Alliances Rank 6 Your guild earns the ability to form alliances with other guilds. For more information on alliances please consult the in game help menu or hover over the Alliance tab from the Guild Roster Tactic Point Rank 6 Your Guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Guild Store: Crafting Components Rank 7 Your guild may now purchase crafting components normally available in PvE at the guild merchant. Tactic Point Rank 7 Your Guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Guild Auctions Rank 8 Your guild now has the ability to set up auctions that will be available to other guild members. Tactic Point Rank 8 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Warped Battle Standard Tactic Slot 2 Rank 9 Your Guild unlocks the second tactic slot for your standard at this rank! Tactic Point Rank 9 Your Guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Custom Heraldry Reservation Rank 10 your Guild is rewarded with the ability to build and reserve customized heraldry to proudly display on your standard and Guild cloak! Custom Heraldry Reveal: Base pattern Rank 10 At this rank, the base pattern and color are the only customized portions of the heraldry which are displayed . The remaining details are “unlocked” as your guild levels. Please see the in game help menu or tools tips inside the heraldry editor for more information on this feature. Standard Ability: Slam Rank 12 Your Standard Bearers may now use the “Slam” ability to damage and knock all nearby enemies back when carrying your Standards. Warped Battle Standard Tactic Slot 3 Rank 13 Your guild unlocks the third tactic slot for your standard at this rank! Tactic Point Rank 13 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Keep Claiming Rank 14 Your Guild is rewarded with the ability to claim a keep. Your guild may only have one Keep claimed at a time. Tactic Point Rank 14 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Guild Cloak Rank 15 Tactic Point Rank 15 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. The Viper's Pit/Sigmar’s Hammer leaders Hall Rank16 The leader of your guild gains access to a special leader's Hall located inside the guild tavern! This room is a place where all guild leaders can converge to discuss politics and strategy and receive a rest bonus. Tactic Point Rank 16 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Guild Store: Transit to The Viper's Pit/Sigmar’s Hammer leaders Hall Rank 17 Tactic Point Rank 17 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. 2 Standard Bearer Titles Rank 18 Your guild may now assign two more members as a “Standard Bearer”. Bloodied / Warrior’s Battle Standard Rank 18 your guild is granted its second Standard! Tactic Slot 1 Rank 18 Your guild unlocks its first tactic slot for its second Standard. Tactic Point Rank 18 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Standard Post 2 Rank 19 your Guild receives a new post for its Standard! Guild Store: Upgraded Crafting Items Rank 21 Your guild may now purchase upgraded crafting components normally only available in PvE at the guild merchant. Tactic Point Rank 21 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Bloodied / Warrior’s Battle Standard Tactic Slot 2 Rank 22 Your guild unlocks the second tactic slot for its second Standard. Tactic Point Rank 22 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Expanded Guild Vault Rank 23 Your guild gains more vault slots Tactic Point Rank 23 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Standard Ability : Rally Rank 24 Standard Bearers may now use the “Rally” ability to resurrect a fallen ally back to full health when carrying your Standards. Tactic Point Rank 24 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Guild Store: Reduced Cost Renown Gear Rank 25 Tactic Point Rank 25 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Bloodied Battle Standard Tactic Slot 3 Rank 26 Your guild unlocks the third tactic slot for its second Standard. Tactic Point Rank 26 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Coming Soon Rank 27 Tactic Point Rank 27 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Tactic Point Rank 29 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. 2 Standard Bearer Titles Rank 30 your guild may now assign two more members as a “Standard Bearer” Corruptor's War Standard/Campaigner’s War Standard Rank 30 Your guild is granted its final standard! Tactic Slot 1 Rank 30 Your guild unlocks the first tactic slot for its final Standard. Tactic Point Rank 30 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Standard Post 3 Rank 31 Your guild receives a new post for its Standard! When applied to the Standard , this post grants the Standard with a different visual appearance. Tactic Point Rank 31 Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. Transit to Bastion Stair Entrance Rank 32 Your guild earns quick travel access to Bastion Stair. This travel is initiated from the transportation merchant located inside guild tavern. Events Ideas
I have expanded this section to create a guild events Ideas section. These are all just ideas to expand your in game experience. Any other ideas are welcome and wanted.
Taking a keep and its advantages Here is section from warhammer online web site to explain taking a Keep and its benefits. Your guild is granted a tactic point which can be used to purchase tactics for its Standards. In WAR, guilds play an integral part in claiming keeps for their side. Not only can you fight together with your banner held high, but those banners can be used to benefit everyone in the area in keep defense once you’ve claimed the keep as your own. Not only that, but your guild will gain certain benefits and advantages just for owning a keep. Imagine your colors flying high for the masses to see. Stir passion in your allies and instill fear into the hearts of your enemies as they come to recognize your colors! To claim a Keep, a Standard Bearer must plant their guild’s standard into a specific slot on the roof of the Keep. Upon doing so, the guild banner tactics will be applied to the specified area in RvR. For Example: “This Guild Rocks” has 2 tactics applied to their Bronze Banner: +5% coin & +5% loot drops. When they claim a Keep with that Banner, everyone from their Realm within the specified range of the banner will get 5% more coin and loot drops. Once a Standard Bearer plants his Standard to claim a Keep, that Standard Bearer gives up his rights to carry a Standard again until the guild loses control of the keep. The benefits your guild will enjoy while having a keep under their control include: Guilds will earn experience over time while holding the Keep Guilds will be notified via chat window warnings if their claimed Keep is under assault. If a Guild Disbands, then ownership of the Keep is abandoned and all guards and banners will be switched to non-guild specific. If a Keep that is claimed by a guild is captured, then the Standard associated with the Keep is considered captured. Q+A Section
1.Do you get to wear the Guild cloak at rank 9 or is it Rank 21? A: we were able to too at 9 2.Can a rank 6 Guild capture a Keep with its Standard bearers and/or Guild Leader. Or do they need to be rank 11 ? A:not until 11 3.Are the above typos or placed in the wrong rank ? A: 4.Can a Guild leader carry and use a Standard ? A:Yes GL can do all a standard bearer can do 5. A question arises. Guilds with more members are advantageous in gaining ranks, because it doesn't look to the average of player accumulated results, but rather looks to the cumulative contribution from all members. Am I correct? So that would mean zerg guilds will gain guild ranks much quicker? A: Guilds with more members will level quicker than less members, but it is based on numbers online. 10 person guild - 100 person guild - 200 person guild 5/10 online will earn less than 10/10 online 10/10 online will earn more than 10/100 online 50/100 will earn more than 50/200 6. Can you have more than one guild Leader? For instance in DAoC, you could have multiple Rank 0 GMs. A: no, not at this time 7. How to gain Guild trophies . Not sure what you have to do though maybe kill cretain bosses ? A:Mentioned Future benefits of capturing Standards (subject to change of course) Guild rewards are supposed to be based on capturing enemy Standards Players are supposed to get renown for capturing a enemy Standard Your supposed to be able to unlock special Tome entries and rewards for capturing Standards Your supposed to be able to gain 'Banner Scraps' from capturing Standards which you can use to aquire special items Trophies to display the guild's exploits and standard captures 8. If the guild dropped below the minimum number of people needed to form it in the first place the guild was automatically disbanded. Does anyone know if this is the case with War? A:No you can have one person in the guild. that being the guild leader. 9. What if the guild leader goes inactive is there any way to remove or replace them? and yes the transit to the viper is a typo by mythic we got access to the guild scroll recall to viper room ability at guild level 5

The standard names sound rather...evil. Are they Destruction side names with Order getting "nicer" sounding ones?

for the update on viper room I think i saw a Order Standard Bearer title "OW MY EYE" lol just kidding. I would imagine the order names would be a tad differant. Instead of Corruptors maybe law giver? |

I seem to remember in another game, might have been EverQuest but not sure as the old memory isn't what it used to be
Just wanted to check in advance so I can advise guild members to be careful when forming and not to accidentally quit until we have enough of a buffer of members, otherwise it could get expensive. |

Can we get some more info on that viper's pit? Is it like an instanced thing only for your guild/you and the guilds you're alligned with? Is the special leader's room available to just the leader of the guild or are officers allowed in as well?
