The class that could change the fate of a battle.

So your battleing inside either a scenario or world pvp really doesn't matter and all of a sudden some unexpected class shows up and changes the whole outcourse of the battle. Which class do you think it would be?

no one class can do that...but a well balanced, well coordinated group of 6 people could really make a big dent in most things.

Agreed with Blae. No one class should ever be that powerful that you should have to worry about it.

well they have mega healz and also have those ritual jazz stuff and give the whole party or something like that extra spells like vortex which is really nice seeing as how it is a good dmg aoe and it costs no action points to use.
im playing chosen though

From experience playing a WP, you can shift a battle alone if you do things right. Hots, divine assault, sigmar's radiance, and a whole book of spells combined with good targeting and teamplay can truely shift a battle.

WP was one of my fav classes to play for this reason.. I never was 1 on healing or damage, but 1 when healing and damage were put together.

Good healers win battles no argument.

THAT'S WHY YOU SHOULD KILL THE FREAKING HEALERS FIRST!!!!

Why do people still not understand this?

At the risk of throwing this thread off topic thats not always the case in war largely (but not solely) due to guard.

Very good supporting argument. Your abundance of facts have clearly proven my ignorance.

Well from experience a well played character can have a big impact on a battle, but not such a big impact to completely change the tide.

Personally as a Warrior Priest I'm hoping to be a force to be reckoned with. I played a Paladin in WoW for 3 years and I would normally help keep the battle going a lot longer than it should of (Retri Paladin with points in Holy). Knowing when to get in the thick of it and when to fall back, knowing who to help and who's a waste of time, understanding your opponents etc was all part of my game.

I just hope that sort of thing I can pass over to WAR.

With gaurd, oathfreind, and hold the line healers are quite so easy.

Not to mention a SM and WP getting into your casters is going to send them running pretty quick a lot of the time.

It gets a bit tricky, zerg the healer isn't always the most effective tactic, valid yes, a healer under attack isn't at full capacity...but not the be all end all.

If this magical person shows up, you send a counter after them before they can sneeze.

Game over.

I think if a Zealot (specced deep into Dark Rites) can swing the battle if his morale gets to the 4th ability and he drops http://www.wardb.com/spell.aspx?id=8613 near the front line... :O

I agree that no one character can swing a battle...but a good RP definitely makes a huge difference. If you have an RP who is keeping up his buffs, healing at the right times and using his Morale abilities when appropriate he can make a little bit more of a difference than most of the other careers IMO...although I could just be biased because I've been one and will be one when it launches lol
